Upper Crust Pizzeria

The Review: My food was absolutely incredible. I ordered the gluten free vegetarian GOAT and was blown away. I usually include pics with my reviews but my brain was entirely focused on putting the pizza in my mouth. It was gone before I realized I should've taken a photo. Hot, crispy, flavorful, great balance of sauce, cheese, and veggies, and very garlicky. Upper Crust has my heart. I ordered online and it was ready on-time (time provided when ordering). Came here for a quick dinner on a Saturday night with some friends. There were a lot of people doing orders to go which I think contributed to a bit slower service for dine in orders. We ordered a slice of pizza, chicken tenders with fries, baked ziti, and a Caesar salad. The good came out hot which was nice. The Caesar salad didn't have any dressing come with it and our slice of pizza went missing and eventually turned into a small pizza to compensate for the delay which was appreciated. We were in a bit of a rush at dinner so we were mostly relying on a place being quick. Overall, the food did the job but I would get it to go next time.

So I'm quite disappointed in the delivery service of the restaurant. Not only did it take 2 hours for them to deliver my food which was cold but they left my order on a trash barrel. That's so unacceptable.

Very sloppy pizza and they need to clean their oven. It is hit and miss, sometimes I grab a slice and it is okay and sometimes pure garbage.Talk about a flop, my last piece could not even be lifted up.The sauce just slid off the pie............

Their seasonal pizzas like the butternut squash one are fantastic! Slices are huge and everything tastes great. One of my favorite local pizza places by far.

This place had the best gluten free crust I've ever had. The guys working are always so nice - I recently ordered a regular crust by accident and they remade my entire pizza no problem. Didn't even let me tip. 10/10 recommend!

My favorite pizza in town, so glad it's in the South End. Last year I ordered a huge feast for a cousin's visit and is was excellent also. JL

Ordered half margherita and they clearly didn't care enough to make it properly and just did half a regular cheese pizza with some basil. Not what they advertised and not what I wanted. Annoyed they wasted my money and their website doesn't seem to even have a way to contact customer service

So slow. Never ready when they say. Not sure they put it in until you show up. Kind of ridiculous. Just go to Nichole's down the street.
