Upper Crust Pizzeria

"Just saw Upper Crust Pizzeria and decided to give them a try since I've never been here before. The place is small, but lots of local eat here.I got a slice of north end pie, pepperoni and some wings. The slices are huge- gladly I was able to finish everything. I take my time to eat while waiting for my friends since we are catching up somewhere. All in all, they are great."

For Boston pizza, this place was very solid! I'm always looking for options for a good slice and I would put Upper Crust in my rotation. However, if you're looking for the best option in the Beacon Hill area, go to Florina instead.My friend and I ended up camping out at the counter area for a bit, but they had regular tables as well. The service was fast, which I very much appreciated. This also seems like the perfect place to grab some pizza and take it to the Boston Commons. No complaints from me!

I just have to start off this review by saying, crush red peppers should AUTOMATICALLY be given on the side when ordering a whole pizza. Especially when it's two whole pizza lol this would have been a 5 Star review because the crush red peppers is crucial on a very very good pizza...FOOD : The figs, goat cheese, and prosciutto pizza is a must get. The sweet onions on it makes it so good. Highly recommend it!The Buffalo chicken was also good but the Buffalo sauce can be a little spicy for some. A little extra blue cheese or ranch will make it good.Overall, got to love upper crust. But please start providing crush red peppers!!

Loved their vegan pizza! I went to an event that had several pizzas delivered from here, and was very happy with the vegan option. The crust is super super thin and a little crunchy at the edges, which I loved. Would recommend.

If you're a tourist in Boston, you're more than likely going to end up on Acorn ST for a photo. This pizzeria is right by there. We walked by someone eating a slice and had to go in. Sooo good. The slice was huge. The crust was crispy. The place is small but I saw outdoor seating as well. It felt like it took a little long but maybe we were just starving lol.

If looking for affordability then Upper Crust is the place for cheap large slices. The pizza is decent but a bit greasy and service could definitely be better. I'd say my slice was more room temp than hot but I was never asked if I wanted it warmed up. It was just quickly given to me despite there being no line at the time.

The service was good. Staff clean tables Often. We got the pepperoni, the Fenway , steak bomb Calzone and buffalo wings. The pizza was delicious. The wings were crispy. The calzone was to cheesy

We were recommended this joint from a friend, a self-described "gastro-tourist." And I'm really glad we stopped in! The place was tiny, barely any seats to be had, but we grabbed the one four-top in the joint. I could see why, though; this place did a heck of a business in pick-up orders! Very popular joint from what we could tell.We just stopped in for a slice, but oh man what a slice. It was so good! I'm about to start a fight here, I think, but dare I say... it rivaled some of the authentic NYC pizza joints I've sampled! Before you get all mad and start drafting petitions to officially reprimand me, let me explain. What is the best part of a pizza? Some say the toppings, others the cheese, and even others the crust. All very fair answers. But, to me, you can find pretty much the same in all three of those categories almost anywhere. Truly great pizza uses the same basic recipes for those elements. But, the sauce... this is where a pizzeria has a chance to shine. Almost all sauces (at least from the good spots) are homemade, and this is where the chef can really make an impact.My readers... this sauce... it was indescribably good. Mock all you want, but to me, a well-made pizza sauce can truly make all the difference in the world. In a time and place where we are blessed with great pizzas everywhere, it takes a brave and courageous shop to really stand out.Okay, so, maybe I overdid it a little. I stand by it all, though. I could have just enjoyed a nice slice and written it off as another good pizza place, but this location was memorable. And it was all because of the sauce.

I truly like the pizza but there wasn't much room for patrons. There was maybe a total of 3 tables and two bar areas for maybe 3-5 people. Very small location BUT the food was definitely great

When inBoston, on Beacon Hill, and craving pizza, this is the place! Mostly take out. Limited seating. Wonderful selection, crispy thin crust, yum!
