I've only ordered delivery from here, but the delivery is always prompt. The sushi is always so fresh! The prices are very reasonable. The first time I ordered I got 4 rolls and a hibachi meal for my partner and I to share, and it ended up being 2 separate meals for different days, so I would say the portion size is robust as well! My only issue was mainly due to delivery and it was that the hibachi sauce spilled all over my bag and so my meal was a little drier than it might have been. I'll continue to sate my sushi cravings here!

This tiny little place is new to the neighborhood and brings delicious Japanese cuisine to Philly. If you are looking for tasty Philly rolls in Philly at a reasonable price point, Uni is your place!

Pretty standard with a few novel ideas and a lot of what is available everywhere, but NO actual uni on the menu. Is the name supposed to be a joke? For people who like uni, which is unavailable at many run of the mill places, that's kind of a dirty trick once you are in the door. The menu even has a separate section for gunkan sushi, of which uni would be a classic example. Does the name mean something else entirely, like "university "? Disappointing. The chirashi sushi is a few dollars less than elsewhere.

Sat at the bar and ordered a few rolls for lunch. I actually like what they've done given my memories of the old town pizza. The three rolls I had - spicy tuna, eel avocado, and cucumber - were all good. Service was attentive, and as other reviews mentioned, it's a much needed addition to the neighborhood.
