Uncle Honey & Aunt Sugar have a great business here with stellar service and baked goods. Now listen, don't come in here looking for anything healthy, because you won't find it. There's lots of love and lots of BUTTER in these goodies.My Godmother has been craving and raving about them since she first tried them at a Christmas party back in December. I decided to accompany her on the almost hour long trek across town to see what all the hype was about. Y'all...the gas is premium! I tried the mini key lime cheesecake and it didn't disappoint. It was also packaged really cute. I also grabbed a few bags of tea cakes for my parents. 4 come in a bag at $3 each, and you can choose from original, buttermilk, lemon, maple pecan, or molasses (like a ginger snap minus the ginger).I tried a sample of the ooey-gooey vanilla cake and my eyes almost rolled to the back of my head. I didn't realize it had Red #40 in it (which I removed from my diet), so I decided to buy the ooey-gooey luscious lemon instead, which I'm sure will make me dance!You can order and have them ship anywhere within the U.S., which is a nice option. They are also located in a lot of other shops including B&W Meat Market on N Sheoherd. They are sweet people with a beautiful story that will happily share it with you if interested. Happy to support this Christian, Black-owned, and just down right good business!

Ok Let me start off by saying I am ashamed of myself because I didn't know Uncle Honey's existed. This bakery is absolutely amazing. So I went on Yelp, on my birthday, to look for a bakery. I specifically wanted a German Chocolate Cake. You see I've been on the search for the perfect GCC that tasted similiar to my Mother's. Anyway, I came across Uncle Honey's. I read some reviews and decided I want some goodies. I didn't see GCC on the menu but decided I wanted to go anyway. I told my wonderful husband what I wanted. He called and a Very, Very Sweet Woman answered. Let's call her Auntie Sugar. She was so nice and welcoming. My husband asked Auntie Sugar if Uncle Honey made GCC. Auntie Sugar informed him that he did but the GCC is considered a premium cake, which only meant that you have to order it ahead of time. It was Wednesday but it would be ready Friday. Not a problem, I can wait. It'll be ready at 3pm.IT'S FRIDAY AND I'M READDDDYYYYY. Ok my husband was excited too. We work nights. We got home Friday morning and didn't sleep, our nerves, Lol. Ok it's 2:30pm my alarm goes off on my phone, I forgot I set it in case I did fall asleep; I didn't. Ok so my husband and Son go and pick my GCC up along with other goodies and make it back home. I jumped out of bed and ran downstairs......... ALL of the goodies are absolutely delicious. The GCC was homemade, rich, moist and I know I taste Baker's Chocolate in it or Something magical. This cake taste just like My Mother's. Finally found the PERFECT GCC. So the businesses that buys Frozen or made to order, factory GCC will no longer get my $$. Yes Indeed. Ok now, the ooey-gooey cakes was a hit with my husband. The 7-Up lemon glaze pound cake my Son loves and the Teacakes taste good as well. Now remember to get there early they sell out fast.Thank You Uncle Honey and Auntie Sugar for making my Birthday Extra Special.

I tried to order a head of time and the person who answers the phone was unhelpful and rude. Considering I hadn't been there before I had a lot of questions.

I like live all things lemon! The 7-Up cake with the lemon glaze was a 10 out of 10. Not too sweet, but a wonderful tangy taste of lemon. The lemon Ooey gooey cake was good but not as lemony as I would like. It was a 6 out of 10. Overall great place and excellent customer service! I'll be back

Came here with my aunt for breakfast on a Saturday and the food was really good and the service was top notch. I went ba k the following week because I enjoyed it so much. Try em out you wont be disappointed.

It was great. I was looking to buy something to take to customers. I bought a dozen one day and returned the following day to buy another dozen. Great price and everyone seemed to like them. The lady behind the counter was super friendly and helpful. She mentioned that they hosted events and she mentioned on the weekend they host a full breakfast.

I ordered a German Chocolate Cake for my bf's birthday, it turned out so good, everyone love it, I have read a lot of reviews from other places too but decided to give this place a try, and it did not disappoint me, I am planning to order Lemon Cake from here as well for Thanksgiving dinner. Highly recommend.

I buy the tea cakes at Pyburn. They have different flavors but original are my favorites

Could not recommend Uncle honey's more! They made me an amazing cake for my fiancés 30th. They were so kind and responsive, 15/10 would recommend! The cake was also delish!
