Having Umbria Gourmet a block from my house is dangerous! This has been such a welcome addition to this side of Manayunk where we don't have nearly as many food options as you do on Main St. I stopped in the day after they opened and have been here many times since! The staff is absolutely wonderful, helpful, friendly, and just generally thrilled to be there. I def feel like it's a neighborhood joint for sure.Such an awesome variety of foods including upscale and local options! I love that they carry Marchiano's and Pierogi Kitchen in their freezers! They also have your standard corner store chips, drinks, local snacks, and some grocery items plus some nice pastas, sauces, an entire hot sauce wall, etc. The hoagies and sammiches are delicious and I am constantly stalking their FB page to see what the latest special is and I'll usually just go and get that. I have had so many options from standard Italian hoagies to breakfast sammich, to brisket specials, roast pork, and everything in between! I have always been extremely pleased with anything I've gotten here and they are always adding new options (they now have soup, wings, fries, and other specials!). They also have great deli items, I love the mac salad!They used to be cash only which was never an issue for me because they have an ATM on site. But as of last week they now take credit cards! My only complaint is that they are on the pricey side - my hoagie + waffle fries + drink set me back almost $30. But I love supporting a new local business and the pricing has never deterred me - just something to keep in mind.

The food here has just continued to get better the longer they've been open! I got a build your own chicken cutlet hoagie for lunch. It was massive and they did not skimp on any of the toppings.

Clean, new, and super friendly! This place is a deli and food shop that also sells other goodies. Italian was solid, on par with the high competition in the area. However, the chicken sharp was odd; they do give a lot of chicken (yum), but one half of the hoagie was insanely, incredibly salty (to the point where it was inedible) while the other half was just fine. ~$30 for two hoagies, which is a little higher than the other delis nearby. Overall would recommend - just hold the salt when ordering!

Great, imaginative sandwiches served on fresh Liscio's rolls. Not much seating, but great for take-out. Boar's head cold-cuts. Also a deli selling great local stuff like Pieogi Kitchen products.

Decided to try Umbria gourmet after seeing all the beautiful posts on local social media. I got two mixed cheese hoagies. There was very little cheese, three thin slices of tomato, tons of lettuce, and kind of a lack of flavor (no oregano) . $25 for two hoagies. I was expecting them to be packed with cheese. but no, I was disappointed and won't be back.

Had to stop by to check out the new deli in town and so very glad I did! First off. Esthetics are fantastic- super inviting storefront- and clean and smells wonderful walking in! Secondly, product. Excellent. Can't go wrong with their menu of items all fresh. All amazing that I taste tested. And lastly great team that worked there. With grand opening only two weeks ago I waited for the. Newness to wear off in manyunk before coming inside. It's a must try!

Got a Turkey hoagie with jalapeño pepper-Jack, pickles, banana peppers, mayo, and lettuce. The turkey was cut really thin and the cheese was bomb. Seeded roll also a great addition of course. Excited to come back and try the cutlet!

I gave my support. I ordered half if an Italian hoagie. And no prosciutto.Pepper ham instead. The pepper ham was $3.00 extra. 12.46...Clean, and friendly. One and done for me.

They sell a turkey hoagie but it's basically a turkey sandwich. You apparently have to define LTO. That's not a hoagie, that's a turkey sandwich with cheese. Plus it was super dry, no mayo like submitted. They just lost a customer.

Ok we went for the first time I ordered a lot so to try. The brisket fries were amazing overpriced but amazing but my razzmatazz or what ever you call it for $25.00 has one piece of Cheese and a half of a hand full of meat ! I wanted to take it back but that's way across town we spent over 60 dollars for a sandwich full of lettuce and tomato ! I'mCalling them tomorrow and want my money back this some bBS!
