Fist visit to Ulvia's today, it was a perfect experience. We ordered a carnitas burrito, tamale, and chicken enchiladas. I have zero complaints. Staff was friendly and attentive, ingredients were fresh. The salsa had a nice kick to it. And just look at how colorful everything is! I also liked that there is outdoor seating. Beats Fiesta Grill (or any other Chapel Hill Mexican restaurant) any day!

Solid authentic Mexican food. Homemade salsa and tortillas. They have a lunch menu with good prices and variety. I enjoy this place every time I eat there.

This is a small place with a limited seating area. The food was good and fresh and a little different from the chain type Mexican places. There is no beer on tap, just bottles. The chips and salsa were good not outstanding. The tables were pretty old and tight. We plan on going back one day and trying some other entrees as it has some unique offerings.

Excellent, authentic Mexican food at a family run restaurant. Service is great as well and the little attached grocery store is a good place to pick up ingredients if you are cooking your own.

Nice place kind of in the middle of nowhere. This Mexican restaurant / store combo has always had tasty food. However I dined inside in early July and there were absolutely no precautions being taken. No masks by the staff, no visible sanitation, all tables open, and a large group of people gathered outside the main door for no apparent reason, none in masks or PPE. The only thing I noticed different from pre-Covid visits was a plexiglass shield at the checkout counter. Pandemic? What pandemic? Get your burrito with a fresh side of Covid here.

Okay Mexican place off route 87 in Chatham county. The aguas frescas were obviously watered down and quite frankly tasted sort of disgusting. The queso was so runny it wouldn't even stick to the chips which kind of tasted old. The french fries were soggy and warm not crispy and piping hot. You could tell that they were quickly reheated. They were not freshly fried for sure. They were redeemed by the fact that they were actual real potatoes cut in house and not from a frozen bag. The rest of the food was just okay. We were very hungry so we ate our food but will not be returning.

If you are dying of hunger, stop and eat. If you want good food, keep driving... This is NOT the Mexican food you find in most places here in North Carolina.

Changing prices on the fly! Order was to go, I arrived and paid. While waiting I noticed one dish I ordered was on the board $1 less than I was charged. The other order seemed higher than previous so I asked where it was on the board and I was told it's not listed however it is shown in the menu yet I was charged $3 higher than list price. When I questioned this I was told all prices are $1 higher they have not changed the board. Not sure why this small establishment feels it OK to over charge. Shame shame on them, trying to patronize local business but they feel ripping customers off is ok. In today's social media world they should thing twice before pulling this stunt. Owner You spend the $4 wisely Because it will be the last bit of my money you ever see.
