I love finding tucked away, fun Mexican/taco spots in the city. I think Atlanta shockingly has some really great ones. I can now add Tuza Taco to that list! When you pull into the lot, you can already tell you're in for a treat. Guests order and pay under a metal awning in the parking lot before they sit. I like how the menu is simple, yet offers something for every pallet. My first visit, I ordered three tacos- fried fish, pork belly, and carne asada. I also got a passion fruit margarita and shared chips and queso with my husband. After ordering, you take your order number to one of there many tables in a cute, outdoor gazebo or inside the restaurant. We decided to sit outside this day, and I was happy we did. Our food came out very fast! Everything was delicious! It was fresh and flavorful. My favorite was the fried fish taco. They cooked the fish in beer batter, which was out of this world! It was the best fish taco I've ever had! Honestly, Tuza is now on my top list of taco shops in the city. Definitely a must go with friends or even on a fun date.

Honestly, if it wasn't for the heat and the prices I would recommend this place for any day of the week. The food is all really good, fresh and has good flavor. Not too spicy or salty. But for the price... hmmmmm I'm not so sure about that.I sat outside for lunch because I wasn't very sure about where to go. There is an inside sitting area but I don't think people were in that space so I just sat in an outdoor cubby thing. They could use some fans in them. Small ones that run off solar power with timers to not waste energy. And more covered buckets that hold the forks and paper towels. A little outside dust builds character!During the fall though, I imagine this place is PACKED! It's aesthetically please, the music is good and the food is tasty. For me, just a little more over priced than I would like to pay for 3 tacos. They were $5 each (I think the chicken and steak should've been $3.50 each and the shrimp $4.50 but that's just me!) and the rice and beans weren't bad at $3. A great portion too. The Ranch Water was $14!! Some nearby places sell theirs for around $9.50-12. Overall, if it's pay day, please go! It's delicious. You won't be disappointed but your wallet might want to take the rest of the day off.

We're disappointed we didn't try this spot sooner! The food is freshly made and all very delicious. You can tell they put a lot of thought into each factor of the tacos. They made our food quickly and they had a nice patio out back so we were able to bring our dogs.

I love Tuza! The food here is amazing, although somewhat overpriced. On my last visit I tried the taquitos special, which was 3 fried taquitos for $10. It was topped with cheese, sour cream, and lettuce, and also came with a little cup of salsa. It was a good value and was filling and tasty. (I have tried the tacos on prior visits and find them all to be very delicious, but I have a hard time paying $5 or more for a single taco). We also got two appetizers, the queso dip with chips and the street corn. Both were also very tasty, and I would definitely order the queso again. This restaurant has counter service, but the server who brought out our food came around several times to see how we were doing and to remove any empty plates, which was a nice touch.

I stopped by for dinner after a kickball game and celebrating 404 Day and this meal did not disappoint. You orde outside first. I ordered birria tacos and a watermelon mango cafillac margarita. I was amazed by the menu options. I definitely have to tty the lobster birria next time. The food was absolutely amazing and dare I say one of the top birrias I've ttied in Atlanra. I will definitely be back.

3.5 stars TL;DR: Average lunch, but will give it another try. ARRIVAL: The parking lot in front is a little confusing at best. I think there's just the one disabled parking there, but the parking lot is really in the back with entrances on the side street or to the right of the restaurant. I visited in the winter, so they had the back door open and I climbed the indoor stairs. AMBIANCE: Once you get to the front, it's a pretty modern interior with radio hits playing when I went. It's a good casual vibe. They do also have outdoor dining that is covered, so that would be fun as well. MENU: It's a condensed menu with chips and a few 'dip' option, tacos or bowls, simple options for quesadilla or burrito, a couples sides, and one dessert. FOOD: I ordered the quesabirria tacos, one al pastor taco, and the churros to go. The birria weren't on the menu but they said they had it when I asked. The food I live less than 5 mins away and had them immediately. The consommé was good but could have been a bit more concentrated but it was a great amount for just 2 tacos. The spicy sauce is AMAZING and indeed very spicy-you've been warned. The al pastor taco was a bit dry but had good flavors. The quesabirria was pretty good but the cheese really wasn't mixed in with the beef at all. So if you took a bite of the taco..in a normal way, you'd see meat only in the fold and the cheese on top of that, towards the opening of the taco, this was how it was all the way through both tacos, so it wasn't totally cohesive. I've had birria tacos from multiple places (outside of Atlanta) and never seen that before. For dessert, I had the churros which were really fresh and crunchy and had the perfect amount of cinnamon sugar, but the chocolate sauce tasted exactly like Hershey's chocolate syrup so that was a let down. CLEANLINESS: I didn't stay but the restaurant was really clean from what I saw. It was definitely comfortable and didn't feel dirty at all. The kitchen is also visible which is very nice. SERVICE: My interaction with the cashier was limited and was nothing to comment on. The woman that brought me my food was from the kitchen and she was really sweet to bring it over to me as I was waiting in the seating area by the front entrance. PRICE: It was about $23 for 3 tacos and 4 churros. I felt the tacos were actually fairly priced, but the churros while good, are a little over priced for the amount you get. OVERALL: Since i do live so close, I'll be back to try and re-try, but it was really only okay and I won't be recommending it to friends from my first and only experience thusfar.

Hands down the best tacos in atl. I've tried about 70% of the menu and everything is delicious. There's often a line! Service is excellent. Love the outdoor dining space. Highly recommend the frozen margaritas and fish tacos.

We came here on a Saturday for an early dinner. Parking was full in their uneven lot with some paved spots and others in grass. There are also 2 spots on the road side of the establishment, one of them being a disabled spot. No worries though as we found a street spot in the adjacent neighborhood. We walked up and ordered at the underneath place outside. We got our number and found a spot outside in the covered area. There are also some booths that are outside, very unique seating. There is also an indoor area. I got the birria tacos, which were a special, and they were so good, I got two more. That said, they aren't that big, but are so tasty! The food was ready quickly and the service was top notch! I would recommend this place for a laid back meal in a unique setting.
