Tufano's Special. Pretty good portion and size. Be sure to mix it thoroughly as the cheese and meat may be hiding on the bottom :)

Delicious! Our server Phoebe was very prompt and friendly. The eggplant parm was great - big portion and good flavor. Everything was a huge portion -- the chicken and potatoes was like three meals. We sat outside next to a pretty fountain and it was a lovely summer evening!

This is a classic chicago-Italian restaurant in Little Italy with a no frills, authentic vibe and experience overall. From the old time decor and classic chalkboard menus, cash/venmo only service, and Italian staff- this is what you come to Little Italy for! We had some drinks at the bar while we waited for the rest of our group to arrive - my espresso martini was creamy and tasty. We got a nice patio table by a beautiful fountain and enjoyed the delicious food.Portions are generous and amazingly priced. We got a bottle of montepulciano with the meal, and I loved the little wine cups instead of fancy glasses. The bread was tasty and warm. We also got fried calamari and bruschetta to share, and these were both delicious and huge. For my entree I got the half lemon chicken, which was huge! So much delicious and flavorful chicken with tasty potatoes. My side salad was also a big portion for just $6. My boyfriend's linguine with clams in red sauce had lots of delicious clams in a flavorful sauce. Everything was so scrumptious. Definitely recommend if you're in the area!

I went to Tufanos yesterday for a birthday party. The food was fantastic. Salad, fried calamari, stuffed shells, meatballs and chicken over linguini. They removed the pine nuts from the chicken dish due to my tree nut allergy. Very nice and no one even missed the pine nuts. They did a great job!

We must have come on an off night because this food was not good. I wanted to love this place SO badly but I can't get past how bad the pasta was. My tortellini was swimming in water it was almost like tortellini soup. The aurora sauce on top had no flavor and it cost $4 extra. My husband's pasta was so overcooked and had no substance. It was $20 for some noodles and watered down sauce. The service was lovely and the vibe of the restaurant was great. You do also get a big portion of food for the price however none of it matters if the food is gross.

Stopped here because it's a DDD stop. There is no signage out front so a little hard to find. They only accept cash or Venmo. The food was average I suppose, mine seemed a little overcooked, couldn't cut thru the chicken without a knife sawing motion. They have a neat little outside area but we were not offered to sit out there. Our waitress was great!

No frills family Italian restaurant with a lovely outdoor patio. Food is always great. Service makes you feel like family. This place is run by family serving families. You won't be mad. Bring cash, but they have an ATM if you don't. Classic old school Italian spot with delicious red sauce on anything. Their Vesuvio Chicken is a menu staple. Oh, and the menu is written on a chalkboard, that's how old school this place is. Love eating at Tufano's any chance I can get.

I found Tufano's on Eater Chicago, and I'm so glad I did. We sat on the patio and the weather was amazing for it. Little Italy is a cool place, and I'd like to come back and explore it. They bring out fresh bread for everyone to start. We ordered the caprese salad, which was great. Then I got the portobello ravioli that was on special (that white sauce was *chef's kiss*, and my husband got the angel hair pasta with mussels. We finished it up with cannoli. It was all very very good! 10/10 would recommend. Our server was Eva - she was fantastic, as well. This whole place was very neat, overall. They are cash or Venmo only.
