Came all the way from Parkland, due it's YELP's reviews, looking forward to try their dumplings. Well, their dumplings are not home made, they are frozen, I buy those at New York Market in Sunrise. At the table they had empty plates and silverware presented when you sit down, in which I found hair in mine, NOT GOOD,. Menu is good but the price of the dishes are way above average, expensive, for its location and type of restaurant. This is not a Michelin restaurant and It is not a take out counter either but prices above $28.00 is expensive and do not think for a second that they serve huge portions either.Food is 8.5/10, I ordered the sizzling prawns and they where fantastic. Overall, there are couple of restaurants in Broward County that can match or surpasses.

I have been there only once to try what friends had told me about this place and especially to try the Peking duck.First of all our waitress and the rest of our service were excellent. The duck comes in 2 parts, first the crispy skin rolled into a delicious appetizer and then the rest of the duck is mixed with vegetables to make a great entrée Loved everything will definitely be back

What an interesting themed restaurant, especially for an early lunch time DIM SUM. As soon as we stepped foot inside, I removed my sunglasses and it was JUST as DARK. The service and food was amazing. I just could not get over the fact that this felt as if I was at a CLUB. The bathrooms were dark DARK, maybe one lightbulb for 2 stalls. Anyways, I would recommend y'all come in prepared for this setting

This is a great little spot! This is coming from someone who has Chinese food all the time LOL. In short...-Plentiful and spacious parking lot -Spacious restaurant, lots of spots to accommodate a walk-in (especially for a small group at least). It was myself and a friend. -Decor was cute and the lighting was not harsh and hard on the eyes, which is a plus, because some places- the lighting is just too much. -The staff are nice, courteous, and quick. Quick shoutout to the waitress Jenny. The orders were taken in a timely manner and the food followed shortly. The food was tasty! -The prices are reasonable. Overall, I would come back and bring my family! :) Check it out!

Dim sum please.OH.MY.GOSH. Why haven't you people put me up on this place!?!! This is what I've been looking for! So as soon as we sat down, the dim sum carts began rolling to our table. There were so many tasy morsels to choose from that we had to pace ourselves! We tried the following:Shrimp spring rolls: 8/10Tender beef: 10/10. Joel actually ordered another one! Pork buns: 9/10. Actually, not my thing, but these were delish!!Shrimp rangoon: 7/10Shrimp w/ spinach dumplings: 9/10Baby bok choy: 9/10 (just needs some sauce to become a 10)Taro shrimp cakes: 8/10Shrimp & pork shumai: 9/10Egg custard tarts: 8/10We are SO HAPPY we found this place. The customer service was excellent, the food was served hot & it was tasty, we'll definitely be back to explore the dinner menu & to try more dim sum!

Best Peking duck in town! I had only ever tried Peking duck at Komodo which was really good, but this felt way more authentic. Restaurant workers brought it out, cut it up and prepared the rolls for us! There was even a second course, a duck fried rice they prepared with the leftover meat.Aside from duck, this is one of the best spots for Dim Sum in town! I think I still prefer Kon Chau which is located right across the street, but you can't go wrong here!Definitely worth the drive to this part of town for some good Chinese food!

I was excited to come here because I've heard a lot of hype surrounding the restaurant walking into the restaurant definitely gives Chinese vibes. There's red lanterns everywhere different oriental accents among the place which is cool. The atmosphere is super casual. We got seated without a reservation. Close to closing time the food was not what I expected the Mongolian beef taste like some other animal. I can't quite describe which kinda bothered me lol . The general taos chicken wasn't crispy. Inside flavor was consistent but the meat was not.the special fried rice was good but nothing amazing. Overall restaurant is OK, but it didn't live up to that everybody created around it.

If you want white table cloth with cart service for dim sum, this is the place to go to. We had a delicious lunch of an assortment of dim sums to welcome the New Year. Of course we ate too much ... from chicken feet (not everyone's taste, but you've got to try them), to shrimp dumplings, to steamed buns. The shrimp sui mai were delicious. The sesame balls were freshly made, among the best I've had. It's a pretty, bustling restaurant, but I found where we were sitting to be a bit dark, which I did not enjoy. The cart service was a bit inconsistent. There seemed to be 2 carts with the same items. Finally, we ordered additional dim sums from a waiter.

I believe I've had a Dim Sum lunch in almost every city I've ever been to; and that's a lot of cities!Other than a cheeseburger, fries and a Dr. Pepper, my favorite lunch is - Dim Sum.Today, seriously, the Tropical Chinese restaurant located in the Olympian Heights section of Miami, is one of the better Dim Sum restaurants I've ever been to. Obviously, Hong Kong, Guangzhou (China) and The San Gabriel Valley in Southern California have the best Dim Sum in the world; but Tropical Chinese is just (slightly) shy of those mentioned locations above. The carts here at Tropical Restaurant were loaded with:Braised and steamed chicken feet, a tripe soup, leek dumplings, gai lan, bok choy, shrimp pasta, shrimp rolls, cilantro shrimp dumplings, sesame mochi and rice in lotus leaf.Everything was excellent and the array of condiments were intoxicating (especially the hot Chinese mustard). This lunch was so "chill" due to the fact, Tropical Chinese was packed, the servers were easygoing and the frequency of the food carts were always near you.I REALLY enjoyed this lunch with my family!
