Certainly over hyped. 1 it's a restaurant pretending to be a night club. 2 the prices are to high for the quality. 3 parking is not great but it's downtown so that's a low topic. 4 burger is under seasoned. 5 the fries a right out of a frozen bag. However, with only having two items on the menu the service is friendly and prompt. Overall it's a burger. It's nothing fancy and very limited in terms of having toppings. I would say there are much burger options out there but this place okay for a single visit.

Hey Family! It's Bailey again with a review ! I was in Houston for a little bit yesterday and I convinced myself to go visit this fast growing spot . The service was flawless and even though it was a line outside it moved super rapid. Also, they had water for those outside, which was fantastic in this heat! Soon as you walk in ..IT IS A NICE little vibe !So let's get to the food so I kept it original with the OG burger combo with fries and a drink. I got it to go and when I tell you ...it didn't make it outside once I had the first couple fries ...I set right down ! The fries were extra crispy and perfect 9.2/10. The main event ...the burger ...the patties were seasoned to perfection with the melted cheese and the key component ..the caramelized onions ..whew amazing ...the burger and presentation was 10/10! Best fast food type of burger I've had in a long time

I had not heard of Trill Burgers until my cousin told me about them before our trip to Houston. I enjoy some of Bun B's music and I enjoy a good burger even more. So of course I was down to pay Trill Burgers a visit. We got there around 4PM, so kind of a weird time I guess but the place was still pretty busy. It was interesting that there was staff in the parking lot directing cars. We stepped inside and fell in line to place our orders at the counter. I got a double with some fries. The burger has a good amount of meat to it and the meat was seasoned well. The burger was also cooked perfectly. The fries were solid as well. Crispy, but not overly crispy. They had the right amount of salt too, I didn't feel like I needed to add anything or dip them. The price was about standard for an upper tier fast food burger (Shake Shack, Five Guys, etc.) I paid $12 and change for the burger and fries. Service was quick, the place was pretty clean. If they were local to me I'd definitely pay them a visit every so often.

Good fast service. Pretty good smash burger with crispy ends. A little pricey but you're paying for the name and why not. Bun b is a Houston icon and does a lot for the city. Maaaaannnn this burger reminded me of a good ol smash burger from my granny's kitchen. It was soooo good. We came on a Monday afternoon, it was pretty busy; I can only IMAGINE what it's like on the weekend. I didn't expect much from customer service, didn't get much, lol. But overall the burger and fries were delicious. Hot, tasty, seasoned well. Onions, grilled to perfection!! Price point wasn't too bad either, like $13/$14 bucks for the meal: burgers, fries and a drink.

Since winning GMA's Best Burger in the Nation contest last year (what a joke), I along with many other Houstonians have wanted to buy a Trill Burger. Unfortunately, GMA let a burger win that you couldn't go out and buy the next day because then it was only offered at pop ups around Houston with no brick and mortar store. The hype was fantastic and I understand people would wait for hours for one at the pop ups, last year's Rodeo and even when this store finally opened last summer. I decided to wait for the hype to die down and not have to wait in a long line to eat a burger and fries meal.A week ago, I was nearby finishing a project and thought maybe it's time. I arrived at about 10:50 am and the line outside was about 30 people and the restaurant was still closed so I decided to get in line. The restaurant opened at 11 and it took me about 15 minutes to get inside and ordering my food about 5 minutes later so the line moved quickly. I asked for the Trill Burger combo for $15.28 before tax. While I waited less than 10 minutes for my number to be called I noticed the black and yellow interior with picnic tables and a few 4 seat square tables. They have a big counter inside selling Trill and Bun B merch and there were some boxes and other clutter along the walls making me think they must have a small storeroom. The interior is kind of low rent in my opinion. The burger was served on a 4" Martins potato bun and had 2 thin fried patties with cheese slices, grilled onions and their secret sauce. While a little small, it was a good tasting Smashburger style sandwich (3.5). It sat on a bed of crispy fries and they were hot but only a 3 tastewise. It is a good tasting burger and their fries are ok but I'm not sure I would return. It just didn't stand out to me compared to other burgers in the area. The burger by itself costs $11.29 which is too much. The combo is the better deal but with tax is about $17. I'm sorry but while good, I don't buy the hype.

My husband and I tried this much hyped burger place and honestly I was underwhelmed. The burger was a bit on the saltier side, it's more of a smash burger than a thick patty burger. Overall the flavors were good, the saltiness just made it a little less enjoyable for me

Food 7/10Service 3/10Went with a friend who was visiting from out of town and wanted to try it. The cashier said there's only 1 water cup per order but had to ask nicely for another one, she gave in. (Gatekeeping water? Seriously)Wanted to connect to wifi but no signs with password, asked employee and they said "I don't know, ask so and so" so i go and ask, they responded with "we don't have wifi". I literally have a screenshot of the wifi they have. Si rude and what's the point of having it then?!?Lastly, I bought his latest shirt at the rodeo during his concert and literally worst quality of any shirt I've ever bought. 1 wash away from being sheer and the graphic was already cracking before I even washed it. Do not waste your money.

First time I had Trill was at NRG Stadium but wanted to checkout the location but since it's always packed inside and parking it's tough. We finally made to the location and just intime for their NEW tacos ‼I got a trill OG because that BURGER HITS and the Taco combo. I would give the tacos a 4.5 out 5 only because I wish the shell was more hard but other than that it was great!Taco or not we enjoy Trills customer service, the team is friendly and food doesn't disappoint.
