The service was fantastic!! More importantly the food was fresh and delicious. Best homemade tortillas that I have had. The milanasa and the chile rellenos were so good. I will definitely be back. This family owned business is worth the trip!! The ambiance is cozy and quaint.

There were SO MANY things wrong with this place!!Avoid at ALL costs!!1 - The service was horrible to say the least - the server failed on every level2 - The food was BLAND - I had the caldo de rez and it might as have just been dirty water instead of broth - FLAVORLESS. My husband had the menudo and it was DISGUSTING. The ONLY good thing we're the tortillas - give the tortillera a raise!3 - The kitchen also failed in timeliness - how does it take over 40 minutes to deliver soup which should be ready? And if they were being made in the moment that would explain why everything was so bland!I had high hopes for this place but I was highly disappointed!

Delicious food, no frills, hole in the wall place. This is the type of place you recommend for people for a mexican home made type of meal. Tortillas de harina were

Yaaasss. Tortillas are great! Nice and thin how I like them. Carne guisada was tasty and meat was tender. Salsa Verde was so good but not spicy like how I prefer. We took our meals to go and everything was packed well. They give you a really tiny bag of tortilla chips, which could be appropriate for 1 person but not for the 3 meals we ordered. Oh well. That's not why we eat there. The ladies that work there are super nice as well. Planning on going back this week to try the fideo and maybe happy hour!

Awesome spot here in the north side - had the Barbacoa tacos and they were - micheladas were delicious , a really good mix. 10/10 would recommend

We waited for 30 minutes before we got our food. We were the only customers. My husband ordered Steak Gaby. The cook did NOT know how to make it. They had to call someone to tell them how to make it. When he got his plate it was NOT what he ordered. The waitress insisted that it was Steak Gaby. She is the one that told us that the cook did not know how to make it. My husband kept telling the waitress that was not what he ordered. She kept on & on that it was. We kept telling her that the meat is suppose to be shredded Not diced. Then she kept saying that she doesn't know any English. His plate looked like Fajita La Mexican & the meat was very tough!We still had to pay full priceVery disappointed with their service & waitress.

This place was good Mexican food. I would definitely go back and try other foods on the menu. The fresh tortillas were awesome. The other thing was their chips very light but tasty overall if you are in north side of town give ''em a try

We were dropping a car off at Mendoza's body shop nearby and googled breakfast in the area and decided to check out this because we love supporting mom and Pop shops. The food is so freaking good here!!!! They have a full breakfast menu instead of just the basic breakfast tacos but do have those also and the tortillas are fresh! They grill/roast all of the vegetables before making their own salsa served warm! I wish we lived closer because we would be here every week. We had a couple of different waitresses checking on us and they were very sweet it's like going to your aunts house

Great Mexican food at good prices! Home made corn and flower tortillas. Not an impressive building. But the food is absolutely delicious. And that is all I care about.
