Trez Bistro & Wine Bar

KeeWee, wow, the ultimate ultimatum when it comes to craft drinks and bar experiences. I came for Happy hour and she was the most attentive person I've ever met. She made impressive conversation during the most memorable times of the event I attended for a tasting.

I had the salmon and dirty rice. Salmon had flavor but no salt. Service was good atmosphere was great there was a DJ and music. We had a reserved table for 2 which was tiny and was so close to the bar.

Great place to host events and private parties. Last night I attended an event for curly girls hosted by HerGrail and Curly Crown Collective. There was an awesome playlist on the speaker and giveaways on the table. The tequila they used to make the specialty drinks we had was sponsored, so I'm not sure if they normally keep it stocked at their bar. There also was space set up for a phot booth. The star of this experience was the grilled salmon dish that I had. It came with dirty rice and crispy Brussels sprouts. The whole dish was cooked perfectly and delicious. The crispy Brussels had a lightly sweet glaze on it that was yummy. The fish seasoned perfectly. And the rice had a great flavor too! Definitely at 10/10 dish! They did have taco Tuesday going on too that came with 3 tacos (choice of chicken, beef or shrimp), rice and beans. The sangria that comes included is a nice touch. The cocktails they made with the tequila were on point too, and were in special for the evening. Their normal happy hour is Tues-Fri from 4-7. The event turned out very nice. The restaurant decor is very eye catching with the paint on the walls and wine display case. However, I would recommend them having at least one or two more servers with events. There were 130 registered for this event! There was only one bartender who did an excellent job with keeping up with his orders. And one waitress that I can see on the floor. She did well too given that she had to work the whole room but of course she took long before she could come back around. Also the mic had too much static because the cord was too loose and had to be held in. FYI they make you start a tab even if you're seated at the tables, not just at the bar. what I wasn't happy about is that 20% gratuity is automatically included. Which I didn't know until my receipt was emailed to me. Because when i was closing out, the waitress used a hand held machine and handed it to me when it was showing the tip page and not the whole breakdown. That was a little sneaky. parking is free in the plaza. They don't always have a Photo Booth, it was for the event but at least you know they have spacing for it. Large party reservations need to be made in advance of course. I may consider hosting a milestone birthday here!

Came in for a random Sunday brunch. We did make reservations via OpenTable- our table wasn't ready when we got there (10 min early) so we opted to sit at the bar. Drinks- we had a carafe of the watermelon flavored mimosa. It was pretty good. Food- I hade the chicken & waffles with a side of grits. My friend had the gumbo. The food was average. I did like my chicken but could've done without my waffle. Overall, Trez was pretty cool... may try their dinner to give them another chance.

Stars for the music and the chicken.It is a little odd that you have to swipe your card before ordering, but maybe they get some dine n dashers?Otherwise, it's the only ok spot in this complex and it's close-by.

First time here but definitely not the last. The Salmon with vegan dirty rice and sautéed spinach was to die for. The cocktails are carefully crafted and the ambiance was elegant. I sat at the bar with some friends and we were greeted and taken care of right away. It's an intimate vibe. Great for dates It's located in a shopping center so the parking is minimal but not too bad. There is outside seating as well. Both the bartenders were well versed in making great drinks. The food came out fast and fresh. My salmon was thick, juicy and seasoned very well. I couldn't get enough of the spinach! I'm looking forward to trying their brunch.

We got "lucky" and landed a table BUT it was outside and hotter than hell. The mimosas were good and the fish/grits I had were flavorful

I went here on Saturday for my friends birthday party, and wasn't expecting a whole lot. However, i was blown away by how amazing the food was. This was some of the best food I've had so far in Houston.I got the chicken & sausage gumbo and it was really amazing. The cornbread was yummy and the gumbo tasted savory with a little bit of spice. The chicken was cooked beautifully. I also tried some of my friends chicken wing dinner & the biscuit was buttery and fantastic. Overall the rest of the restaurant experience wasn't standout (we had to wait ~10 min for our reservation, it was dark and a little noisy) but the food really set it apart. Our waiter was very nice and friendly, and made sure my friend had a memorable birthday dinner. Would I go again? YesWould I go with my friends? YesWould I go alone? YesWould I ask my friends to pick me up food if they were going? I wouldWater rating: 6/10. The water was just above average, not standout but was still cold and refreshing

We made two reservations online because they don't take parties larger than four online. We were seated right away, and our waitress was very attentive and ensured our food came out quickly. The bartender was terrific. All you had to tell him was your preferences and he made delicious drinks. I ordered the French toast and chicken wings and BABY the French toast was absolutely amazing!!!!!!! I also ordered a side of collard greens and a side of crab macaroni and cheese and I had to call home and discuss that crab macaroni and cheese with my mom because it was that good!!!! Others in my party gave me their thoughts:I got the southern comfort meal with fried chicken, collard greens, macaroni and cheese and a biscuit. It came out smoking and the chicken was delicious. I ordered the fish and grits. The fish was grilled. The grits were perfect, but THE GRAVY *chef's kiss.* The mimosas were also great. I loved the music (which wasn't too loud)I had the avocado toast with a side of chicken sausage was delicious and came out quickly. The menu indicated a bed of greens but it was a small salad. Enough for a 2nd meal. The DJ was nice and the music was not overly loud which is a huge plus.

I would try to come back here again, but for a first time experience with a group it was a let down. They didn't have any of the wines we wanted that were on their menu. Server honestly seemed like he had better things to do. The only thing that was helpful was the manager who answered our questions. Maybe we'll come back another time and hope for the best.
