Tres

I've passed this place a ton of times and finally went. It's ok but not great. It's very cutely decorated inside and there were only about 4 parties inside when we went. We got 4 of the house margaritas which were really good and strong. For food we got the Birria fries and the tres sampler of little tacos. The fries were not good fries with decent queso, stewed beef, and pickled onions on top. Overall a 6/10. The taco sampler was good to try the majority of their tacos. We liked the shrimp ones and the beef shawarma one and that was about it. The lobster one was very fish and tasted like imitation crab. The chicken one was dry. We didn't eat the Birria because we were full by the time we got to it and tried the Birria in the fries. Overall I would maybe come back for the drinks but not the food. I wanted more Arab influence in the flavors otherwise it's just a halal Mexican spot

I ended up coming here because my original plans were unavailable. This place was my second choice but it might've been better than my first. I stated off with the wings and they were very good. The sesame seed were a little different for me but very good nonetheless. I ended up just getting small plates and drinks because everything was so good. I had the Birria fries and they were amazing! I loved the what from the fresh jalapeños! I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Houston.

Love love love Tres!! Straight out of the gate, the restaurant itself is so colorful and inviting. The decor and ambiance makes you want to stay there all day. We started out with some chips and gauc, and my oh my! 10/10.I had the lobster taco and lamb taco. My favorite out of the two is the lobster. The lobster is minced, and I really love the texture. The sauce is delicious yet not too overwhelming. We also got shots and while I was not a tequila girl, my friends enjoyed them. Our kind waiter told us about the taco Tuesdays so can't wait to go back one day when I'm back in town!

Hubs and I stumbled upon the his find and loved it! Stopped in for an authentic Mexican date night and got way more than we bargained for! The food was amazing and the service was friendly. Shawarma and ribeye tacos are great! Also loved the elotes, Guac, and cocktails. The vibe, decor, and aesthetic also work well here! Salud!

I first visited this spot months ago and got just drinks. I loved their margaritas and vowed to come back and try some of their food. It finally happened! I stopped by during an astros game and snagged the last open table. This place is small but decorated so beautifully and it really has such a homey vibe to it. The staff was incredibly friendly and provided great service throughout. The ambience was also great this day since everyone was watching the game and engaging with each other. We loved it!My friend and I shared the Birria machete and OMG it was so good. The birria was cooked to perfection and the cosome had so much flavor. Some of the best birria I have had! It is hard to get good authentic Mexican food in this area but they did it right. We also ordered the stuffed jalapenos but those were pretty underwhelming to be honest :(To drink I had a regular margarita and my friend ordered the Al Humo margarita. Both were so good we ended up getting a couple of each! I will definitely keep coming back for the yummy food, amazing cocktails, and great service! :)

We came for their taco Tuesday. Each taco is $2. I thought they would be larger. I thought the ribeye was the best, followed by the birria, and then chicken shawarma. I felt like none of the flavors really shines through. I mostly tasted the grilled onions. I feel like there needs to be a bit more acid or bite in the tacosService is quick. But for it being taco tuesday, the restaurant was awfully empty. The ambiance is decent, small space inside with some outdoor seating.

The food, customer service, environment is really good. One shared app & two tacos was very filling. The servers were exceptionally kind and attentive. The food was fresh, however it did take a little while for it to come out. I definitely recommend coming here during sunset for the quaint atmosphere.

Amazing food, drinks, and atmosphere! Everything from the guacamole to the margaritas to the tacos to the bowls are delicious. and always service with a smile and a friendly face!

It was really good, but sadly it's been closed for a few months now. Just trying to warn anyone into making a trip and it's not open.

Came here for a quick dinner before our night out and so glad we did! At first I was upset because we wanted Mediterranean food and what we saw was Mexican and then when we got in, it's a fusion of both Mexican and Mediterranean! The place is so freaking cute, I loved the decor, they had plenty of seating inside and out. The menu had a good amount of food and they have a full bar. The drinks were freaking delicious and the food, OMG, Amazing! Everything tasted fresh and I wanted to try everything! But I will definitely come back for more!
