Treacherous Leches

Love the concept and love the name! There are so many different flavors of tres leches to choose from. I had the amaretto and my friend had the key lime, the flavors of which were really good. My cake was a little overcooked, but it was moist enough that it wasn't a turn off. I'd definitely return to try some of the other flavors.

Came for the treacherous tres leches and was rather disappointed. For a hefty $9.50 a slice--a price I've never had to pay in LA or SF--I was expecting excellent cake. Not cake with mascarpone (a warning next time, please?) that could hardly hold a flag to a wholefoods grocery store cake (that costs less, mind you).Why is it less than? Well for one, it wasn't fully moist. The top layer was dry. The "condensed milk" was sticky and not sweet. The cream was not sweet. And overall it tasted like sour milk with a nutty mascarpone taste.

Wow this place was great!! Customer service is great! Location was interesting, they had many choices of local companies. we got the caramel tres leches cake sooo delicious! I really wanted all the flavors but this one topped with Cinnamon Toast Crunch was soo visually and physically delicious! Over all 5 stars can wait to come back.

Great cake EVERYBODY loved it an asked where it came from super moist. Will definitely be back to try out others .

The Treacherous Leches Are Dangerously Delicious Every Flavor You Didn't Think Tres Leches Could Be Made In. It's also Topped Off With Our Homemade Whipped Cream And Our Different Toppings For Each And Every Treacherous Cakes.The Employee Is An Excellent Sells Men Very Funny Very Good People Skills And Also Quick At Making The Cakes. The Atmosphere Is A +10, It's A Vibe In There Especially With The Different Genres Of Music That Is Playing.

We saw their name on the sign driving by and decided to circle back after dinner - so glad we did! Coming back and already told our friends to try it.Ambiance/decor: 10/10 Super colorful, authentic painted animals, papel picado, cool decorative wooden utensils. Would buy their decor for real. Had cute indoor seating area. Captured the homeliness of Mexican art and decor.Service: Guy behind the counter was hysterical, very welcoming, and gave us little cards with more info about their name and flavors. Gave helpful recommendations and attentive.Food: 11/10 Flan- I'm picky about flan and this one is the best non-homemade flan I've had. Creamy, not rubbery or jello-like at all, more a cheesecake flan-style. Caramelization even with deep flavor. Amaretto Tres Leches - My boyfriend's choice - cake was moist and creamy. Amaretto flavor rich but not whelming. Cake was a tiny bit more dense than I was expecting but not in a bad way. Guava Jarritos - Had fridge if Jarritos and Top chicos. Great, what else is there to say. (Fyi we took our time getting home but it was well presented for a while after takeout. Could definitely take home.)

Terrible service. I placed the order on line and I had someone on the phone helping me. I asked what time I can pick up my cake . He tells me that the emails will say "pick up " at 2pm but we open at 1pm so if you want to pick it up at 1pm you can . I was there right 1pm like I was told . The place was completely CLOSED. I called 20 minutes after waiting. I get the owner on the phone and I said I am trying to pick up my cake but there is no one here . He says let me call you back . Then he este the me this "I am on my way, my employee should have been there by now" I reply back and I said there no one here . Then he replied this "I am coming, I am not sure why she isn't there. When ordering , it says we need 24 hours. You placed your order after 5. It also says pick up is after 2. My only option was to have it delivered. What a waste of time and so unprofessional to run a business. I paid $104. So it was no free, and yes you lied to me when you told me you can pick up your cake 1pm.

Ordered the BBC brownie and the red velvet cake slice, 100% do not recommend. The brownie had a sour taste and the whipped cream was flavorless.The red velvet slice was so dry it was crunchy with no flavor and the whipped cream was runny and flavorless as well. This was the first time I've ordered from Treacherous Leches!

Cakes here are amazing. Best in town everyone please come try these cakes for your self !!!!

**Buyers Beware!**Shame on me for trying to order from them again. I had an issue with every single. Jodi had an excuse for being late every single time. One order we even talked the day before to confirm everything was good to go. I heard every excuse you could think of... from his car broke down, he had a flat tire, stuck in traffic when we came from the same part of town. The final straw, I've been trying to hunt down a cake order I placed over a month ago. Tried calling the number over and over with no answer. Tried every location they have listed online, Dallas, Fulton, and Tikilas on Shepherd, which was where I was told I would find my cake!!** Don't waste your time with these scammers.**
