Ambiance was perfect. We came for my birthday with a group of friends and this place was packed! The food came out slowly and steady but not too long. I ordered the soft shell crab pad thai and that was perfection. 5/5. I wished I had seconds. My table ordered appetizers and almost everything was so delicious. I need to come back again to try other entrees! Presentation of food was amazing! Perfect for groups and date nights.

I really love the concept of global cuisines inspired by travel. Brings back fun memories of travel in the various locations covered by their menu. Portions are quite generous - not sure if that's just normal for Texas but you won't leave here hungry! I also enjoyed my watermelon lemonade, it was very refreshing. Also recommend the watermelon avocado salad. The service team was very friendly and attentive despite a packed house, inside and out. He paced the items, we didn't feel rushed and it felt like a relaxing brunch despite the loud hustle bustle of a packed house. There is a large outdoor patio with fans to help with the heat. There is valet parking for their small lot. Restaurant is nicely decorated but they really need to keep on top of the restrooms, it was worse than a portapotty in there at the end of lunch service.

This place is so pretty and the menu looked interesting, so I was excited to try! The service was great the server answered all of our questions and the food came out insanely fast! The guava empanadas were not for me, they were a little too sweet. We ordered a side of toasted bread and it came out very salty for some reason. The Churro del diablo shot was yummy, very sweet but it was a nice treat. I don't think i'd be able to do it in cocktail form so the shot option was perfect. It came with a little piece of churro. The Crab Samosas were so yummy and flaky, dipping them in the spicy mango chutney was amazing! The parm and brie grits were different but had good flavor! The custard french toast was nice and sweet but not overpowering; the fruit was a nice addition to it! I had the Vietnamese steak and eggs and instead of the cucumber I added the sesame spinach which was great!! I love the way the steak was seasoned! The steak came sliced and I ordered medium rare! I'm glad i didn't order medium. This place was a cool experience, and I definitely would come back and try some other things!

First impressions: it's a nice touch to offer valet, but the valet attendants do not open your doors. If you're gonna do valet, do it right. The workers were not friendly, but instead we're just matter-of-fact.The first thing you notice is the outdoor seating area and then a small bar... Moving into the restaurant, the vibe was very good. The decor is perfect. Sophisticated yet charming. Once in the restaurant we were seated at tables that were all in a row, and spaced pretty tightly. There wasn't enough room to pull out my chair to sit down, so I had to pull the chair out to the aisle, sit down, and then scoot sideways into place. Looking around you could see amazingly plated dishes. The waitress came and welcomed us and explained how the menu featured foods inspired from all around the world. It was a very cute presentation.I got my mimosa flight, but my guest had to wait another 10 minutes before she got her drinks. We ordered the Brazilian cheeseballs and they were absolutely fabulous. The linquinca tucked inside added a flavorable little punch for the palette. The service took a little longer than it should, but I finally got the crab cakes Benedict. However, again, my guest had to wait about 10 minutes before she got her French toast. I found it unacceptable that the waitress didn't notice this sooner and did not apologize. We were looking for her, but couldn't find her. Of course my food was cold and when I cut into the eggs, they were cooked too much. I was I happy to have the amazing potatoes Despite that, it did have interesting flavors and amazing presentation. I hope to bring my husband soon, and pray that it will flow a little bit better next time. I wish the waitress would have acknowledged the mistake in the food delivery and had offered an apology, a free dessert, or discount instead of not acknowleging the mistake(I didn't want to complain in front of my daughter who was buying my lunch.) Despite how long we waited without my guest being served, I will definitely be back and give them another try. It's the real deal.

Parking: Free Valet that I recommend using. We drove in, gave our keys and within 3 minutes were inside the restaurant. Service: Really solid. Our waiter was Forrest and he was extremely attentive but left us alone just enough to enjoy our food. The drink menu was vast and I loved all the options. I decided I wanted whiskey for the evening, so I ordered the Shogun. Really well made and also incredibly tasty. After drinks, we ordered the crab samosas and the salmon tartare bites. All I can say is- WOW. The crab samosas paired with the raita was amazing. So well made and incredibly full of flavor. I think the salmon tartare bites were the showstoppers though. They tasted so fresh and well-balanced. They have a slight spicy flavor with the salt flavor coming from what I think is soy sauce. Very, very VERY good. As an entree, we ordered the Adobo snapper and the Brazilian Shrimp Moqueca. The Moqueca was decent, but I wished it had some stronger flavors throughout- either spice or sweetness or something more. The flavor was nice, the shrimp were juicy, but compared to some of the other flavors we had throughout the evening, it felt bland. Now, the Adobo Snapper? Solid. LOTS of flavor- the snapper was PERFECTLY cooked. The yucca patty of sorts was presented well and the mango salsa paired perfectly with the sauce on the plate. The true disappointment of the evening was the "Burnt Basque Cheesecake" I'm not sure if the name implies purposely overcooking it, but the cheesecake lacked flavor, had an odd texture (for a cheesecake) and the pairing with it didn't do much to overshadow the problems with the dessert. I thought the crumble was good, but I hated that the crumble wasn't used as a crust and instead was literally crumbled around the plate. Because I visited for my birthday, we got these little ice cream scoops and those were really solid. Overall, I would definitely come again. Outside of the cheesecake snafu, I thoroughly enjoyed this entire experience.

We finally made it to brunch we've been here several other times and ordered take out and sat at the bar. We weren't impressed with the items that we took out in the last and chopped it up to some food items are better had fresh out of the kitchen. We've always heard that it's a great place for all meals so we can back for brunch. It was a Saturday afternoon and there wasn't much for reservations so I made one for an hour later than we arrived. They were able to fit us in. The atmosphere is electric and very vibrant. There was a bit of a lull with us first being served but after she made her way to us she was Johnny on the Spot. So give some patience during brunch they'll get there reasonably. I only captured one picture so I'll just have to give some recaps without any visuals. We started off with the chargrilled oysters. It's pretty hard and probably unfair to compare any char grilled oysters outside of New Orleans but let's just say they were good but not New Orleans good. We also had a side of cornbread and it was tasteless to me. My husband who doesn't necessarily have to have sweet cornbread and doesn't really like hot water cornbread said it tasted good to him. I'm a sweet cornbread lover so this wasn't it. We also had the crabcake Benedict. This Benedict as unique in the fact that it does not come on a English muffin or any sort of bread. They do serve it with a side of potatoes. I found the Benedict to be decent, the hollandaise sauce was very unique in that it was sweet. It did have some finely cut up vegetables in there, but I would say that the poached egg was a little bit too bland.Lastly, we had the Japanese miso scramble. This was probably one of my favorite dishes. The egg was cooked perfectly. It was a very mild, healthy dish. It was one of those meals. Where you eat it and it feels good for your body if that makes sense. So, perfect for those who want to have a healthy and light meal. For cocktails, I had a vesper which was really good and my husband had the Margarita, which was excellent and a Hennessey espresso martini, I forgot the name. It was quite sweet and creamy.Overall, I would say this is not my favorite eatery in regards to the food taste. This was our third time and there wasn't anything that was just wowser. But all three times that we've been there, with this being the first time I've actually dined I would say that it was always a pleasant experience, the atmosphere is always vibrant and very fun. The customer service has always been good to us, so I would say that because they have a lot of items on their menu. I would definitely go back and keep trying different things.

Double date night. Have wanted to try travelers table for a while now! They sat us outside despite having regular reservations but luckily it wasn't too hot and muggy. Service was decent throughout the night but also slow at times with placing any orders. We shared multiple starters - the Brazilian Cheese Bread, Mochiko Chicken, and Venison Tartare were all tasty but shared among 4 people only a few bites each. The venison tartare was my favorite starter! For mains I had the Lamb Gnocchi which was amazing. The Gnocchi in particular was the dish highlight. Everyone else's main also looked good! Cocktails were all aesthetically pleasing and tasted great. The bread pudding and mango mousse were solid options for dessert. Overall a really nice time but definitely quite pricey when everything adds up. I'd come back again but probably good for a while!

Food was amazing! Best lamb I've had yet. Ambiance is very romantic, with a lot of soft lighting. Service was great too, my cup was never empty and waiter recommended great options. Only downside was the smoke would accumulate from the kitchen, as someone with a sensitive nose it was hard to not sneeze. Other than that I really recommend this place!

The food is excellent!! We had a bad service once, but there are other days we've gone there, and it has been an outstanding service. The place is romantic and peaceful. Prices are not crazy. One of my favorite places for dinner in Houston due to the variety of food.

At Traveler's Table, we savored their delicious guava empanadas. The flaky pastry filled with sweet guava was a delightful treat for the taste buds. The eclectic atmosphere and friendly service added to the overall enjoyment of our dining experience.
