Tracey's Fajita Restaurant

Went there yesterday with my family. When we got there, we were the ONLY people in the restaurant... The only waiter took forever to come to us to take our drink order. We finally got our order taken. Keep in mind we are still the only people in the place. Took our food over 40 minutes to come out. The waiter was very confused and got my order wrong. Took him extremely long to bring things out we asked for and kept forgetting items too. So annoying. He probably could have used some help. I used to enjoy this place so much! The prices have gone up abut the customer service and taste of the food has gone down. Very disappointing bc I was so excited to eat here after not coming for so long. I won't be back.

Family owned and operated gem in Katy. Hands down best fajitas and enchiladas in the area including the big names. Owners are so sweet and you cant help but root for them. Our absolute go-to family meal location for casual week nights. Keep it going Tracey and family!

I can't believe that I've not reviewed Tracey's Fajita before! My family has been eating there for years and the food is always extremely fresh and full of flavor. The service is top rated with a personal touch each time that we go. The inside is everything that you would hope for from a family owned true to detail and very welcoming.

We love Tracey's! They are our favorite to-go meal. We call in our order and pick up at the drive through. We order fajitas for 2 and share across 2 adults and 2 kids. The chips are fresh. Salsa is flavorful and spicy. I love dipping the chips in the charro bean dip. Both kids eat the fajita meat with tortillas. My husband I and pile on the onions, peppers, pico, and guacamole. All fresh and flavorful! Tracy Fajita night = happy meal time.

First time trying Tracey's Fajitas.Honestly, this felt like I was invited in his home for a home cooked meal prepared with love and care.Chips and salsa were fresh, served with charro beans.We ordered the mixed beef and chicken fajitas, served with fresh, not previously prepared guacamole. Fresh flour tortillas, he gave us a sample of charro beans & tortillas prepared without lard, for people that don't eat pork. They were tasty as well.Beef and chicken had awesome flavor, definitely marinated for hours or overnight. Tender, flavorful and the chicken was not dry, cooked perfectly.I would highly recommend this place. They do catering as well and will use them and refer them to my friends, clients and family.Thank you, see you soon.

We tried this mom and pop restaurant for the first time tonight. I have to say that I'm pleasantly surprised. They served tortilla chips with red salsa and charro beans. I've never had tortilla chips with charro beans before, but it turned out to be a big favorite for my family. The onions in the fajita dish were so sweet and delicious. The beef quesadillas were huge. My family enjoyed everything about our meal.

A friend recommended, and Tracey's lived up to the hype. Usually I will have something that I leave on my plate because it isn't as good, but not here. Everything tasted great! My favorite though was the cheese enchiladas. So yummy!

The fajitas here are delicious!! The tortillas are made from scratch here and are a guilty pleasure. The corn tortillas here are fabulous as well...thick and steamy and homemade. I have never had anything bad at this place and the fajitas are seriously some of the best in town. You won't be sorry if you try them!

1st Yelp Review 2024. The Fam was feeling like Mexican today so tried TFR again. Although it been a long time since I've dined here the family owned restaurant is consistent and truly a gem. I called in my order for pickup and they told me 20-25 minutes. I arrived little early so had to wait a bit so I went across street to Walmart. I came back and the owner, who I assume is the Mother was nice and accommodating and honored my 10% Yelp discount. It just feels like home cooking. Food was prepared hot, super fresh and delicious. I Ordered my favorite chicken flautas and beef fajita quesadillas which was really flavorful served with tasty charro beans and fresh guacamole! Also, their homemade salsa is "amazingly" served with freshly made chips. Pricing has increased but I noticed they give you 4 flautas instead of 3. Restaurant is not a huge place...more likely for takeout but worth a try if you like some neighborhood good ole home cooked Mexican food.

Sweet staff, attentive service, a real desire to make you happy (a star for each!!) but we found the food just really basic. It was ok/good but just not something something to make us excited to come back and have again.
