Amazing authentic hidden gem of Houston. This is the type of place you'd never find unless someone told you about it. It's VERY authentic Mexican food - the staff pretty much speaks only Spanish if that says anything! The reason for 4/5 stars was solely due to service. As mentioned - this place is very authentic so language barrier was an issue for me (waiter did not speak English). Because of this - I think he misunderstood my order and gave me a cheese enchiladas instead of chicken. I won't hold this against the restaurant too much - if you're coming here KNOW YOUR SPANISH! Good chance to practice for sure.As for food quality - excellent. Definitely would come here again and I consider it a great hole in the wall.

Food was ordered to go. My Temperature was taken at the door before being allowed in. Paid at the register and received my food. Got home and checked my bags and order was correct. Food was good nothing really special about it.

It's not that bad. It used to be better. I guess inflation is getting the better of them. They use smaller portions and quality has gone down. But still a decent place for Mexican food.

This place ha been around for years! I've just now thought of giving it a review, I go there very often! My favorite thing on the menu is the Monterrey burger, it is huge and tastes nothing but authentic! (Ham, avocado, lettuce and onions) The pricing is always fair, service is fantastic most of the time and I'm surprised that they keep adding new things to the menu! If you're looking for something convenient, quick and within a budget this is the place!

Great Mexican food selection, had the Burrito Reglo and tasted great with the salsa verde.

I have to be honest, we loved everything about this place. I am a professional chef and my husband's family owned one the most famous Mexican restaurants in Houston. We eat tons of Mexican food all over Houston and surrounding areas. We eagerly search out places just like this and meat markets in hopes of finding the exact vibe we found last night. We have a large family and brought all five children with us last night for a total of 7 ppl. This place checked all the boxes for us. The food was very good! I seriously loved everything from the kids meals to the adults. We got many things and it was all delicious. The place got very busy which we loved. The vibe was great. I loved the staff- Sweet as can be! The prices were reasonable and portions are very generous! The restrooms were clean. I had the best time and we will be back! For us and the kind of Mexican food we enjoy, the vibe, the prices and the staff, it's a definite five stars. Everything we want for dinner with our family. We can't wait to go back!

This is a really really good Mexican restaurant. If you don't mind waiting in line for really good flavored food I would definitely try this place out. I recommend the tostadas. I usually get the street tacos with avocado and cheese. Definitely worth trying out and worth the wait. Also make sure you try their lemonade. It'll bring you back to when you were a kid

The service was horrible and they told us to leave the baby in this holder thing and they didn't even ask if we wanted that to happen and service horrible!!! The orange Fanta taste a bit sour chips were almost STALE I don't recommend this place

we got served raw chicken, on a kids meal, they never brought what we asked for, and charged us gratuity and didn't tell nor mention anything about it, they charged it and we told them we shouldn't be charged gratuity for service this bad, she also lied about charging us that, our little girl didn't even eat she ate one bite and if she gets sick from it we wont hold back, the server wasn't paying attention when we tried to tell her about stuff we needed and just ignored it.
