Very much enjoyed our dinner at Toska Restaurant and Brewery. Everything sounded delicious and we were hungry after a long work week so wound up over-ordering in waves--our server kindly started taking orders as our group rolled in. That only means that we've leftovers to look forward to! Our group of 6 shared 6 appetizers:- Bavarian Pretzels (VG, served with house IPA beer cheese sauce), which were nicely browned on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside (and the leftover sauce was drizzled over other parts of dinner!)- Toske Meze: Sujuk (beef-based Albanian sausage, which was very mild in flavor), feforona (seriously hot peppers), ajvar (roasted red pepper dip that was a table favorite), feta cheese, and Albanian olives medley- Fried Cheese Curd (served with comeback sauce), which were piping hot and a table favorite- Cauliflower Wings (VG, served with tempura batter, pickle ranch aioli), which were piping hot and delicious!- Fire Roasted Brussels Sprouts (V, pepper drops, balsamic drizzle)- Short Rib Poutine (hand cut fries, curd, caramelized onions, demi glace)--I always forget that poutine rather ruins the crispiness of fries...I think I would've preferred eating fries and cheese curd separately, but that's just me!We then each ordered a wood fired pizza, including:- Korean BBQ (cheddar and smoked gouda, short rib, caramelized onion, cilantro, chili crisp), which needed more zing (maybe addition of kimchi?) and heat...I also missed the taste and texture of mozzarella.- Fried Chicken (San Marzano tomato, Saputo gold mozzarella, house brined fried chicken, Nashville hot sauce).- The Shroom (house white sauce, Saputo gold mozzarella, wild mushroom blend, caramelized onions, tarragon, truffle oil)- The Veg (San Marzano tomato, mushrooms, Saputo gold mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, asparagus, caramelized onions, fresh basil, extra virgin oil, fig balsamic glaze)Overall reviews were favorable--good size pies with plentiful toppings and nicely chewy crusts. The space is large--seating both downstairs and up, with upstairs split into two dining rooms (one a few steps down). Definitely recommend stopping by!

Very useful spot to have in the neighborhood, especially on Wednesdays when they do an extremely fun trivia night! Food is good, though a little inconsistent. Pizza dough is solid, flavorful, nicely charred. The classics, including the housemade Albanian sausage instead of pepperoni, are great. Some of them have too many toppings, get a little muddled, so keep it simple. Great wings. Nice Caesar salad. Ambiance/service: the vibes always feel a little weird. I've always thought the design of this place is a little odd, but always comfortable. Service was a little awkward at first when it opened, but has steadily improved. The beer is beer! It's not the most adventurous or interesting, but super drinkable, good with food, and the house drafts are pretty affordable. Trivia: maybe just me, but the reason to come! Gets a great crowd, the host puts a lot of personality in the questions and has interesting themes, but they're always approachable. You don't have to be a genius to play and enjoy it, but the competition is serious.

Very similiar to In Riva in that's it's some of the bast hand tossed personalized pizzas. Kids mac and cheese was authentically made not some Kraft b.s.

One of my favorite pizza spots now after trying their Fried Chicken pizza and Hot Honey pizza. They do have a lot of other food options as well with a huge menu. Good for local beers and cocktails too

Nestled in the My. Airy neighborhood in Philadelphia, Töska is a true gem for food enthusiasts seeking an extraordinary dining experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the inviting ambiance and the promise of a culinary adventure. My visit to this restaurant left me in awe of the chef's innovative approach to flavors and his surprising use of food combinations. Upon entering, I was greeted by the warm and welcoming staff, who guided me to my table with a genuine smile. The decor exuded a rustic charm, perfectly complementing the scratch kitchen concept that this restaurant prides itself on. The open kitchen allowed me to witness the culinary prowess of the chefs, which added to the overall excitement of the dining experience. Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the food. Each dish on the menu boasted a unique blend of flavors, and I found myself torn between the enticing options. The chef's creativity was evident in every bite, and I was consistently delighted by the surprising taste combination. One dish that stood out was their signature pizza. The crust perfect, it was a mouthwatering canvas for a delightful medley of toppings. The combination of flavors was nothing short of extraordinary, and I couldn't help but be impressed by the chef's attention to detail in crafting this masterpiece. The kitchen's commitment to using fresh and high-quality ingredients was evident in every dish they served. Each plate was a work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with colors and textures that tantalized both the eyes and taste buds. The attentive and knowledgeable staff further enhanced my dining experience. The server was good. She was informative and honest. Much appreciated the beer tastings to make sure my hubby and dad chose the right selection. The food was minimal. It took too long to come out during a time when there was low volume. The bang bang shrimp taste like grease. The chicken appetizer was burnt when we asked for crispy. The Korean BBQ was not the greatest. The cheddar overpowered the pizza!

We went to this relatively new restaurant. We went during happy hour but did not take advantage since you need to sit downstairs in the bar area. They have some new restaurant issues. Everyone was friendly but not knowledgeable. I ordered poutine which was fabulous. Since it was an appetizer I was served early although the rest of the party was served later. There was an issue with my husbands dish-missing ingredients I think so he said to scrap it since he was already munching on my poutine as the other couple we were with had gotten entrees by this time. Go there but be prepared for friendly spotty service.

Sad, terrible, worst-possible service. Took forever to be greeted at our table. Took forever to get our order placed. Took forever to get our food. No one came to check on us until it was way, way, way too late. Horrid. We will never, ever return.
