Torchy's Tacos

Food tastes great as always and the service is good. Employees are pleasant. The corn tortillas were very brittle and didn't hold up to eat my taco. Actually had to eat it with a fork. My main issue is the amount of filling in the tacos. We eat at multiple locations all around Houston, and this is the first time I felt like a location is having financial problems. Normally with a Naughty Santa you are served a small side of the delicious sauce and there is always enough of filling for almost two tacos! Definitely not at this location. There were only two tiny pieces of chorizo and very little sauce. The tiny slice of avocado was not even enough for one taco. We will always eat at Torchy's, just not this location.

Damn good tacos from a great location. Pro tip, get your taco trashy if you like queso! Also, the guacamole at Torchys is to die for! Be wary, the queso has Diablo sauce and that will make ya have a bathroom visit soon after you leave the restaurant if you catch my drift!

This is the perfect place to get an overpriced margarita and super dry taco . The brisket is so dry and crusty, it may have been cooked and kept in the Sahara desert and shipped here overnight night express. First time and last time here. Trust me.Hours Later:My stomach is killing me. It's clearly food poisoning. Never again in life would I eat here in all my life or recommend it to anyone.

Placed order to go.We have had these before at the Sugar Land location many times so somewhat disappointed.Had potato, egg & cheese(not pictured) was not the norm. Did not finish it.The Baja shrimp was okay...on the salty side.The democrat was not as tasty.We'll be back as it is the closest location to us(30 minutes).

First time trying this location. The service was great, everyone is super friendly and helpful. The place looks clean and spacious. I was just disappointed in our food. My family had orders of flour and corn tacos. Tortillas were barley warmed and mostly cold and tasted raw. Food tasted like it had been out for a while, not warm enough to even melt the cheese on top of my tacos. Queso and chips were good.

Normally great food and experience. However my first thoughts are someone will snap their neck on their tile floors. I am not sure if its the tile choice or the cleaning agent but i could moon walk gracefully. Not a pleasant stability experience. Caution.

5/5 for what it is - casual counter service modern American tacos. Service was super with friendly and attentive employees. As someone else mentioned, some of the tacos are more burritos-esq, overflowing with a mound of ingredients - use a fork bro. The orange sauce is flaming hot, beware. Large bar. No complaints.

While eating at Torchys at first was fun and exciting, just not feeling them anymore. The tacos continue to be too busy and just too much. They should just call it Torchys burrito instead of taco with the amount of ingredients per taco. Similar to Dr. pepper. Too many ingredients kills the flavor vibe. While the ingredients taste fresh, I find myself asking for them to leave off ingredients so I could enjoy the taco. Their taco they do each month was a good idea for customers and marketing. I love their hot sauce. Tables and floor sometimes feel greasy or sticky and not sure if they clean the water or rags out enough when cleaning throughout the day.

The selection of tacos is great, the queso is amazing, and whatever you order from the bar is always delicious. Torchy's delivers fantastic food and service every time we eat there.

Food is well prepared and the selection of tacos is varied and creative. I , also, like the fact I can still order a drink with my TexMex when I eat at the restaurant. I've recently been paying some attention to their non-taco selections and love their Airstream salad. Tried it twice now as a delivery. Both times fresh and flavorful. I got to pick the protein and got the grilled chicken fajita . Yum! Service is fast and they are usually busy. The ambience is a step up from one of their competitors, as in Torchy's actually seems to welcome you to eat there.
