An unassuming location that looks like just a hole in the wall. Well, GO TO THIS HOLE IN THE WALL!! My husband and I were hungry for Mexican food while staying in the airport area of Denver and found this gem that had very high ratings. We weren't disappointed. As I said, it's not fancy, but very welcoming. We went around 11am and there was one other couple in the place besides us. We stepped up to the counter and looked through the plenteous menu on the wall. I ordered the asada tacos (you get FOUR!) and my husband ordered the Birria tacos.I just have to say....probably some of the best asada tacos I've ever had, with onions and cilantro and lime juice to squeeze over it. And my husband, who loves Birria tacos almost more than he loves me, said it's the best barrio tacos he thinks he's ever had.We both commented that the food looked and tasted like someone who knows what the heck they're doing cooked it. And that's an understatement. It was delicious.They bring 5 different sauces to your table....2 reds and 3 greens, in varying tastes and heat levels. They bring a small basket of chips and salsa to the table, and the different sauces are fun to try on the chips.I have every reason to believe that you will not be disappointed, whatever you choose. The two girls that were working were so kind and smiling and enjoyable. One of the girls was new and was learning all the ins and outs....but she smiled all the way through, even when waiting on the table of three men that were a titch impatient with her not quite understanding what they were wanting (not that she didn't understand English....she did, but she was unfamiliar with menu since she was new.)Just go there. Make your way to this late 20th century, mixed-use older neighborhood. It's worth it SO DANG MUCH!!!I'll be back!!! I promise!!

My mother got diarrhea from the steak enchiladas today, I've had a bad experience in the past that made me decide NOT to come again thanks to them burning the Chorizo Tacos I ordered years ago that left a bad taste in my mouth.My mother is DONE with this place. It often seems to be hit or miss lately, and on top of that, I often wonder if the Health Inspector needs to drop by, there is no reason that someone should be getting diarrhea from the food here. Not okay. I'm very disappointed. Today's girl at the counter gave great service, but the person in the kitchen gave zero care.The ambiance was very empty. One TV was playing, but no music and it was on mute.

Tony's was a surprise during my trip to Aurora. My partner and I found it while just looking for things near Anschutz.We ordered tacos and it took about 15 minutes for them to come out from the kitchen. The service was great and helpful when we were trying to figure out our orders.The asada was good, but I think the Al Pastor was fantastic. I would go back to get an order of Al Pastor Tacos in the future!It was quiet on a week night around 6 too. I appreciated it since we were in and out quickly.

I would get this again, for sure! It was girls night and we were meeting up at a brewery that did not have a food truck. We searched about and found Los Tony's. My daughter ordered chicken enchiladas that came smothered in red sauce along with sides of beans and rice. I got my absolute favorite, Chili Rellenos!! They came with the beans and rice as well. The chili was stuffed with cheese (yum!) and cooked in egg batter. So good. We noted the sign that "all dishes are prepared spicy" unless otherwise requested, after we ordered. We were all good with that. Of course I had to get some chips and salsa to go with. My daughter got a large Horchata to go with her meal. We took our food with us to our meet point and enjoyed dinner with friends. Everything was delicious. The spice level was on point. I wouldn't go lower.There are a few tables for eat in and seemed like lots of folks popping in for carry out. It was a good find!

Stopped in for dinner at 8:15pm. Asked if it was ok to sit and eat since they close at 9pm. The waitress was so nice and said of course. We had the sopes and combo with burrito, enchilada, and tostada. Everything was delicious and the salsas were so good and spicy!!! There were quite a few people picking up to go orders.

My new favourite Mexican restaurant! Everything about this place is great: the food quality, the service and the price.Firstly, our waitress was probably the friendliest most helpful young lady I have ever met. She was also very quick to bring us our food and kept checking up on us. The chips and salsa to start were super tasty and I loved the salsa! Just the right amount of kick. The horchata was ginormous!! Could easily serve 2. The quesabirria tacos were the best I have had-tender meat, lots of cheese and super crispy with ample and very flavourful consommé. The shrimp molcajete was also huge, served with 5 toasty tortillas and a sizzling shrimp, cheese, onion and jalapeño pepper mixture with both regular and jumbo bacon wrapped shrimps; served with a side of rice, beans and guacamole. If that's not enough flavour they also have 4 tasty salsas and you can try all four if you can't decide! This dish also could easily be shared between 2 people. There were about 20 shrimps in the dish! For dessert we got the Tony's special: churros, sopapillas with honey and ice cream! Perfect for sharing and you get to try a bit of everything. It was top notch! The place itself is fairly small and has its own parking right behind the building. It's not a fancy restaurant but it's fantastic authentic Mexican food!

OMG - the food at Tony's is excellent- the service was fast and the waitress was very friendly. The Mole was complex and very flavorful. If you are in the area stop by! Not the fanciest place but the food is excellent.

Got the chiliquiles and they were delicious. Great spice and hot food. Molcajete was 10/10. We dug into the food before we thought to take pics but definitely coming back. Service was great too! Haven't been able to find Mexican food since moving to Colorado that actually was delicious!
