We went there for an anniversary celebration, it was great , the food was really good , yes it can be pricy but it's worth it!!! Although the service was great I do wish that I could had gone on a weekend they have live music but you have to do some research before going. I do recommend the valet parking too it's not that expensive. Although I am still impressed even though the reviews are not that high it's a great restaurant to try out !!!

This is a very upscale restaurant. My experience was great from the moment I drove into the parking lot. The valet team was extremely friendly. The host greeted me and made me feel welcomed. Our waiter was very attentive. The food was fresh and seasoned well. Chef Kate did an amazing job. The food was so good I forgot to take pictures of my meal.

Tony's is a gem to Houstonians. It's not my favorite restaurant or cuisine but it's a classic, upscale Houston fancy restaurant with history, even though this is the newest incarnation. Expect a pretty buttoned up set of business diners, ladies who lunch, regulars and those celebrating something special. Food is very good and beautifully served. Personally, I love their salads and fish. And bread. Service is very professional and attentive. Years ago we used to come for an occasional happy hour. I'd like to try that again since they seem to have upgraded the bar menu.It's a must for every Houstonian to go to at some point and experience the institution.

Great upscale restaurant. Went to the one in the Greenway Plaza area. Meal was spot on and super well plated. Started with lobster bisque. It was good but not great. The main was an ahi poke dish, great tasting and looking dish. Finished with a Affogato, they added Dr. Pepper, never seen this in an Affogato but tasted great. Valet service as you pull up, not sure where you would park without it. Service is great from the moment you walk in. Never felt neglected if anything you are over served. Had a few people checking in us. Expect to spend some money, but worth it.

We were so excited to this place for so long, but unfortunately, we didn't even get to try out the food here. We made a reservation and got seated at our table. We waited there for 30 full minutes, yes, we watched the clock and no server or anyone even attempted to come to our table. We've never had to experience sitting and looking at every waiter pass our table, even some seeing that we've been just sitting there staring for someone to even attempt to ask us anything. Some just blatantly walk by with no eye contact. Nope, nothing. We were totally ignored and couldn't even get one single person to our table. Unfortunately this left such a bad impression on us, we will not even go back to try it nor recommend. Unfortunate.

Another great experience with Tony's! I am so happy this place still here in Houston. I always love this place and especially the restaurant week! You can get to enjoy from appetizer to desert with smaller portions. The food was as great as it was and the service was even better! This is always one of my favorite place in Houston!

TONYS IS INCREDIBLE!!!!This is by far one of my favorite restaurants. They are incredibly accommodating, create amazing dishes, and have superb service. Chef Kate and her team along with the wonderful servers make this restaurant excellent. There is nothing bad on the menu EXCEPT the hanging chicken (I've never eaten it but it smells horrible). For appetizers my favorite options are: spaghetti alla chitarra Al limone cut to order (my favorite), ribbons and squares, pansoti (little fluffy pillows filled with squash), and carciofi Romani. Cannot go wrong with any of these - it depends if you're in the mood for raw fish, pasta, or a salad. For entrees red snapper is quite nice and the sauce is superb, but my favorite is the Dover sole (big enough for two) with meneire sauce and crispy capers. The prime ribeye is also fantastic! For sides, get the farro, pommes frites, and silken potatoes. For dessert, you must get the soufflé - you can choose any flavor and any sauce you want!

I will say. Me and my girlfriend were not entirely impressed with this resturant. I think i had ordered some pasta that was paired with lamb meat. It was delicious! 8/10And my Girlfriend had gotten , some tortellini? it was alright to be fair. 6.5/10 Aside from the decent food. The restaurant was very nice, active chatter-ful atmosphere. However me and my girlfriend were not so pleased with our server/ service. Not so attentive to my date at all, completely ignored her request and only listened to me. She expressed this to me after we had left so we could at least try to enjoy the meal/ (First Time Experience at Tony's ) We were glad to have our spirits brought back up by the owners wife who greeted our table.Fortunately we have decided we will only come back here when we have dire reason.
