Tony's Barbecue & Steak House

Tony's BBQ is a great place for BBQ in the La Porte area. The is always hot & fresh, and the service is fast--a winning combination when you're in a crunch for lunch. Every item on the menu is very good and their prices are very reasonable for a BBQ establishment. The ranch potatoes are the best. If you're in the Deer Park or La Porte area, I highly recommend trying Tony's for lunch or dinner.

The food is Very delicious. The barbecue brisket and sausage are 10 star awesome. The service is so good. I love the prices of the food! It's nice to have a barbecue close to wear I live. I love the food and the services.

Tasteless meats. Green beans is VERY salty! BBQ sauce is what they rely on for flavors on the meats! At least a dry rub cause not many people like bbq sauces doused on their meat. Never again ordering

Soo good! I've always gone to the one in clear lake especially since they have a drive thru but there's no difference i have to say Tony's is my favorite bbq and I absolutely love their fried okra! They have a full bar of condiments to pick from.

for one they don't answer their phone and they're rude. they said they had baked potatoes, and it was not a baked potato from a microwave.

Food is great. Only thing is, the place always looks closed when I pass by. The open sign is constantly off during business hours. I had to make sure the door was unlocked before everyone got out of the car. Also this hasn't been the case every time but the last time I visited, it was pretty warm inside, I was sweating. One suggestion, have an employee park their car up front and not on the side so passersby's can see that someone is there. And keep the open sign on during business hours.

I've been going to Tony's BBQ for around 20 years, and I love it. The meat is excellent, and the sides are fantastic. My family especially loves the green beans, fried okra, and potatoes that are cut into chunks and topped with chives, sour cream, bacon and cheese. The portions are large- even on To Go orders where restaurants often like to give you less.

Food is delicious!! Steak was cooked perfect and seasoned well!! Fresh salad and the sides were excellent and seasoned well!! Service was good also very friendly staff..I will be a repeat customer!! Finally, a cook/chef/restaurant that knows how season their food!!

La Porte doesn't have much of a BBQ selection. Not a good one at least. Ordered 2 meat plate. The brisket was beyond dry. I knew it immediately after opening the box when I noticed how paper thin it was sliced. To mask the dryness. The okra was overfried, hard, chewy, like it had been sitting a while. Ribs dry. I ordered through door dash. It didn't take long from order to delivery ... so the travel time has nothing to do with the way food was. I'm posting this hoping it either changes the way food is cooked or if it can help someone wanting bbq make a better decision.
