Love this spot. It has such a wonderful ambiance inside. A twist on modern art deco. It is valet only, but it makes things a lot easier compared to trying to park off of a busy Houston street. The cocktails are thoughtful and somewhat complex, with a little bit of something for everyone on the menu. I had the Summer Peche, which was perfect. My husband also enjoyed his drink as well. For dinner I had the Summer Vegetables, which comes with parmesan-dusted gnocchi, and it was one of the best things I have eaten in a long time. Magnificent! For dessert we have the flourless chocolate cake, which was good but very thick. We originally had ordered the Plum Cheesecake, but it was sold out for the night!Overall a delightful spot for dinner, or even just cocktails. They have a separate cocktail bar to the right of the entrance, with a fun speak-east vibe. We will absolutely be back again!

My friends and I had a lovely dinner here during Houston Restaurant Week! First off, La Colombe d'Or Hotel is such a beautiful boutique hotel and their restaurant is worth the hype. We sat in their beautiful sun room during this visit. I had the chargrilled octopus, heritage chicken, and the raspberry clafoutis. The octopus was a large portion and was perfectly cooked. The chicken was very juicy, and again a larger-than-expected portion. Lastly, the raspberry clafoutis wasn't overly sweet and went perfectly with the vanilla ice cream. We also ordered their seafood tower to share, and it was a real treat! The seafood was so fresh and beautifully presented. Our server was very attentive, and valet parking is available. Would love to visit again!

I was looking for a nice restaurant to eat with my wife when we had someone watching the kids, and I came across Tonight & Tomorrow a long time ago and bookmarked it. It's part of a really nice B&B, with gorgeous decor, its an old charming mansion and that grandiosity definitely shows in the restaurant. The salad, pasta and cocktail were all absolutely top notch. We took advantage of their new 2 course lunch special and mostly likely everything we got. The descriptions were accurate, offerings were lively and flavorful, and wait staff (particularly Christian) were knowledgeable and inviting. On the fish sandwich, I will say the filet was a bit too big, I wish it was thinner so it wasn't so overpowering relative to everything else in the dish. It was generous to give such a thick cut but despite being part of a sandwich it was like eating the fish by itself, which wasn't what I was aiming for in this meal!Anyways I would definitely come again, maybe be more selective on what i order, but I do think I got what I ordered, just that I didn't make the best choice for myself!I mean honestly sitting at the table was like being in an art installation, just the views alone warrant a return trip!

I really love food and was looking forward to staying at this hotel and having dinner here. I suppose the restaurant is fine for people passing through and looking for convenient fine dining without straying far. But this is certainly not a destination restaurant. It's a lovely space decorated well. The salad had barely any detectable dressing on it (I do prefer light dressing as it is) and the dried apples were too fleshy a texture for a salad, it just didn't work. The pork chop was the best thing with excellent flavor, but I always find it such a shame when it's literally just the meat entree and zero flare when you're paying high prices. No roasted cauliflower puree or Chinese broccoli or perhaps wild rice, nothing. Very underwhelming presentation. The salmon came wrapped in some kind of husk. Rather than put the plate in front of my husband, the server awkwardly struggled untying the string on the serving cart for some time, eventually discarding the burnt string on the clean silverware. Then he used the silverware to remove the fish from the husk and onto the plate, utterly disheveled. As if that wasn't already quite unnecessary, he then took the fork and attempted to prop the four cherry tomatoes on top of the fish, failing several times and proceeding to slop the sauce clumsily across the plate. I've never seen anything so ridiculous and had to muffle some laughter until he walked away. Please, don't make your servers go through such ridiculous pains! Nobody needs that, I promise. Anyway, my biggest pet peeve is constantly being thirsty for water and never seeming to get anyone's attention for such a simple need. I spent over a decade in the service industry and find lack of water on a table pretty unforgivable when I'm paying for $50 piece of salmon and zero sides to speak of.

After doing some extensive research, I decided to check the bar at this restaurant out. It is located inside a beautiful boutique hotel and you are even allowed to tour around the upstairs rooms and outside. My husband and I had a lovely experience. The bartenders were the most professional ones I've ever met! I like super sweet drinks and the ones that we got per recommendations weren't that great to me personally but it didn't take away from my positive experience.

The most recent review of Tonight &Tomorrow I did was 7 months ago. The decor is still beautiful, but unfortunately, the service for dinner has gone down. They OFTEN have menu items that are not available. Their speciality drinks are OK. They are trying so hard to set themselves apart, but getting the basics down is so important. A Bloody Mary is an extremely simple drink to make, but they missed the mark. Their speciality drinks have cute names, but the final product does not follow through. The Caesar salad was a fine mixed greens salad, but a Caesar salad it was definitely not. It lacked any anchovies or garlic flavor in the dressing and the greens were frisée, spinach, and radicchio. It was smothered with finely grated Parmesan. The salad should be renamed or remade with Romaine and shaved Parmesan. They did not have the French Onion Soup listed on the menu available. We asked for bread service three times before we received it. It was grilled bread with soft butter. Very tasty when we finally received it. The short ribs were delicious as were the steak frites. The side of grits were stiff and gummy. The grits should have been creamy and not so dry as a dinner compliment. Do NOT get dessert. The cheesecake was dry and flavorless and the S'mores dessert was EXTREMELY dry and flavorless. Breakfast at this restaurant is a different story entirely! It is delicious and a well run organization. If you go in the morning, ask for Dean or Christian. They are both delightful. Dean is very personable and is a huge asset to the restaurant. We will go back for breakfast, but elsewhere for dinner. This restaurant should be called Night and Day instead of Tonight and Tomorrow, for the experiences between breakfast and dinner truly are polar opposites.

Beautiful location and look. Enjoyed all the food I tried. When the pianist left however, it was "deafingly" quiet....we were whispering and laughing it was so awkward at moments.I was craving scallops like woah, so I got them, but $18 for 2 scallops is a bit intense. Was not a cheap brunch, but good food and location.Drinks take a while, even water and staff seems a bit unsure, but are very nice. Place is newer, so excited to try again when more established.

Hidden inside lacolombedor hotel is a chic restaurant. The food was phenomenal. Great attention to detail and visual pleasing. Nice touch of garnish with seeds on the chilaquiles. It adds a great texture component to the dish. Having chicken on it made it even better. I haven't seen any place with meat on chilaquiles. Loved it! The patio is peaceful with a nice water feature. Perfect for brunch outside on a beautiful day. Creative brunch cocktails. The coffee one was great.

Nestled in the historical home of one of Texas' most prominent oil titans, Tonight & Tomorrow is a unique experience that blends French influence, seafood, and an almost art deco ambiance together. I had the pleasure of dining here with my mentor, and our waitstaff was Atlee, who took our orders quickly, discreetly, and professionally. I ordered the king salmon, brussels sprouts, seafood platter, and chocolate mousse for dessert. The king salmon was excellently finished in a roll of what appears to be bamboo paper. The picture doesn't do it justice--it's moist, tangy, and pairs perfectly with the vinaigrette sauce. Not a hint of fishiness and every bit of umami. The brussels sprout appetizer is done with cranberry vinaigrette, and I honestly felt the tanginess was a bit much on this one. Sprouts themselves were roasted perfectly, but I would suggest playing with the sauce or providing options. The seafood platter had crab fingers, oyster, and a few others. Of note, the sauces really sell this dish. The cocktail sauce is standard, but the tartar and (real) horseradish really shine. Oysters were fresh and clean.Chocolate mousse for dessert was very dense, more than I am used to. It's very rich in flavor, and paired perfectly with the fruits on top. Diabetics beware!Overall, Tonight and Tomorrow is unique in its heritage and branding, stands out as a great French seafood restaurant, and made for an experience to remember.

We had lovely breakfast here in the dining room that is in the mansion (apparently the hotel rooms and the apartments are in the Tower). It's such a lovely space with interesting, historical, and eclectic art pieces (paintings, sculptures, mixed-media, etc.). My breakfast was perfect: steel cut oats with oatmeal and a latte. Just perfect for a windy day in Houston. My husband was so intrigued by my order that he ordered the same! The service is great on a Weekday morning, since it's not crowded, but I can imagine this space getting crowded in the evenings. And, can I tell you, how nice the valet was?! It was raining cats and dogs when we arrived, and multiple valets came out to our with umbrellas to help us into the mansion. It was the best one can want on a rare windy and rainy day in Houston. Hope to return another day when the sun is out and see all the art and food in the sunlight.
