Tokyo Sushi

One of the businesses in the Market at Chestnut Hill. obviously limited hours due to the market only being open Thursday to Saturday. Otherwise, this food stand is pretty good if you want non-expensive sushi. They have ready-made sushi rolls or you can ask them to make you a fresh roll. The raw fish is really fresh and the sushi rice was really yummy. A roll can cost you around $7-$10 on average which is good price wise. They also sell miso soup, edamame, spring rolls, etc, I have tried the spring rolls which are actually very delicious and again affordable at $4.50 for 7 pieces. The staff were really friendly as well. I would suggest stopping by this stand if you happen to be in the area. It's worth it.

Located inside Market at the Fareway,Tokyo Sushi is by far the best sushi restaurant in Chestnut Hill. The sushi is delicious and very fresh. The customer service is absolutely remarkable - they really do make you feel like family. I love coming here; it's very easy to order ahead by phone or through their new website.

I had been craving sushi but had struggled to find a good sushi restaurant since moving to the neighborhood last year. This place has ended my search for good quality sushi that is close to home. I got the rainbow nigiri set. Good presentation, good quality fish, and the rice was outstanding. Highly recommend.

Nice little spot in the market. Sushi is good, and I also had some spring rolls that were tasty. The owners are super nice, absolute gems. Great option if you're feeling like a quick and easy bite.

A nice little place and another good food option in the market. The owner/operators of Tokyo Sushi are pleasant people and make decent sushi. The sushi is fresh and tastes good. I usually get the spider roll and I am always happy with that choice. There is usually a good variety of sushi in the case.

Today was my first time dinning at Tokyo sushi with family .Great customer service, very friendly, clean, affordable and the food was tasty with little wait time, I look forward to dining with Tokyo sushi next time.

Tonight we had the WORST experience ever! A party of four, seperate tickets (we're students so its our perogative). resulting in the RUDEST waitress experience ever! Sadly the food wasnt that great and the service no better! Not once while there did she check to see how things were or if we needed anything, etc. Interestingly she did check with other patrons to see if they were happy. Once the checks came she tried to make us tip her saying that she had to share with the cook = REALLY?!?! I would definitely NOT recommend going to this restaurant unless there is NO OTHER establishment available - McDonald's might be a better choice. This venus receives a definite in my book!!!
