Toasted

We've lived in and around the area for years and have never stopped here, mostly because the parking lot is usually packed. Sadly, we won't return. Food presentation was beautiful but that doesn't replace receiving a quality and hot meal. All the foods except French toast are probably bulk cooked and then just warmed up when ordering. We arrived at 9:30 to a 3/4 full restaurant so we expected a wait. Didn't think we'd have to wait 30 minutes, especially considering our food was not even warm. Hubby ordered biscuits and gravy which came with eggs and meat. He chose scrambled eggs and bacon. NOTHING on his plate was even warm. Every single item was room temperature at best. Eggs were hotel buffet quality (possibly powdered and microwaved). Bacon was baked and way overcooked. Biscuit was generous sized and probably would have been good had it been hot. I ordered banana and walnut French toast with sausage and a side of grilled potatoes. French toast had a weird flavor, almost like the egg batter was not fresh. Sausage was a frozen variety like you'd get at Aldi. Potatoes were undercooked as some were still hard and had no flavor. I had to generously S&P them several times. Neither of us ate even half of our food. Our server was very busy on the inside seating and didn't come out with our ticket so we had to go inside to pay. He apologized and said he was sorry he's been so busy. We figured that might be the reason our food was cold. Perhaps it was hot when finished but it waited so long to get brought to us that it got cold. Either way, breakfast is too easy and we can find many more places that will serve us hot food.

The people were cool. The service was terrible. The food was absolutely awful. I'm not sure how a breakfast spot serves soggy waffles. The chicken had no seasoning, cut like cardboard. The eggs were flavorless. There was a bone in my sausage and they served Hillcountry Fare ketchup. Need I say more. Go anywhere but here. This makes Waffle House a 5 star meal. :-(

Early morning casual breakfast spot w decent coffee and good food. Service was good, friendly waiter and waitress. For the price of the meal, this food good af!!!! Classic southern yumminess we all love!

Service is always good, but the food always come out warm/cold. For some reason that just throws me off.

food was delicious! i have gone for breakfast and lunch and everything was delicious. the service was also amazing! finally, the restaurant was so cozy and welcoming! 10/10 recommend!

My friend and I had lunch at Toasted today. I've been a few times, but it has been a while. The food was outstanding. The prices were even better. The service was great, too. If I lived closer to Huntsville, I would definitely dine at Toasted on a very regular basis. I am looking forward to dining there again very soon..

I tried breakfast and lunch. The food is OK and the service is also OK. When ordering a burger, make sure you order it at least medium well or it may come out medium rare. Obviously lots of locals in the restaurant based on hearing the conversations with various staff.

I've enjoyed every visit I've had there. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to get a tiny breakfast. The service has always been outstanding.

This place might cute on the outside but their food is shit. I ordered a burger from there and not knowing what I saw was RAW meat in the middle. Don't get me wrong I like eating a medium rare/ medium well burger but it was nothing I seen before. IT WAS COMPLETELY RAW IN THE MIDDLE! When I told the staff, they said there manager wasn't there and tried to give me a discount even though I expect a full refund. This is absolutely unacceptable and I will never ever come back ever again. No one should have raw meat in the middle and now I have food poisoning thanks a lot Toasted. Fuck you and your mom!

The gods looked upon me today as I cut into the chicken from my chicken and waffles. My brain went back like the food critic from ratatouille. I view my childhood as I bit into my mother's home made fried chicken. I felt like I was in a 5 gum commercial as the juicy chicken erupted in my mouth. Hot fresh delicious. Also server waited on me like I was on my death bed; always there for me. The country music made me feel like I was sitting on my childhood porch with my family.
