TJ Reed's Flippers

TJ Reed's is a busy place! We had a big group so it took a while to get a table, which is completely reasonable and expected.This is a big place and there's a lot going on. The menu has tons of options.Service was OK. Maybe it was because we had a big group, but service was distracted. For a place that seems like it should be so much fun, our wait service didn't live up to my expectation of fun.We ordered several appetizers. I only took pictures of the Boudin Balls. I split one and it was tasty, but not extraordinary.I ordered a Cheeseburger with bacon added and an extra side of onion rings. Yes, everything (bacon and onion rings) was available with an extra charge.Some boozy shakes were ordered and enjoyed. I didn't have one, but they did indeed look good.The experience, overall, was okay.

Food and service was great. Got seated quickly and staff were very nice. They did ran out of crayons for the kids menu to color but our waitress was awesome and found a couple for my toddler

The food, location, price and service were all excellent- check this place out! Brunch and lunch were great. Lots of great choices.

We heard great things and have been anxious to try the burgers. The overall experience was just ok. We were sat right away, but it took a long time to get a server. When he did finally come over, he seemed annoyed to serve us. We asked him if they had milkshakes and he said "yes". I mentioned I didn't see them on the menu and he said, "there is a separate menu". Ok......can we see it? The shakes were probably the best part, but not sure why there was an up charge to have salted caramel. My 2 year old grandson had Mac & cheese with French fries. His meal came out first, which was nice. My husband and I had burgers, which were pretty good. They gave him fries instead of tots, but eventually brought out his tots. The tots were very good. Again, just an ok experience.

The service is great and they treat you very well.It appears to to be a daytime eating spot and the food is delicious but pricey for a regular place to frequent regularly.This type of money you spend on special occasions only.

Service is slow and forgetful. Burger has no flavor. Ice cream boozy desserts are good

Absolutely amazing. I don't think my family or I have had better in a long time. To start? Fried pickles for an appetizer-- those were those the perfect amount tangy and salty. The tater tots? Crunchy on the outside, and fluffy goodness on the inside, and eating them like was like... nothing else I'd ever had could even claim to be a tater tot.For dinner, I'd had the crawfish poboy, my brother the catfish poboy, my mother and aunt both went with a plate of alaskan salmon, while my dad got the half pound of shrimp. I can say unequivocally that we all very much enjoyed our meals. That crawfish poboy is great with the FRIED crawfish in my opinion, and the flavor profile is downright scrumptious; plus, it's a pretty damn big sandwich, so you won't be going hungry for sure.Next came the service. Our waiter, for the life of me, I can't remember his name, started with a T, I'm pretty sure; the red-haired and bearded gentleman, I'm sure he'd remember us because we were a family of redheads as well. The man was outstanding in his friendliness, his care, his charm and wit. He made sure we had everything we needed in a prompt manner, and even after the kitchen was closed and we were getting ready to leave, he secured me a little cup of queso so that when I ate my leftovers the next day, I could pour said queso on my fries (which, by the way, their fries were amazing).The atmosphere was also welcoming and friendly, with the funny paintings on the walls, music and lighting all helping to liven the place up.If you're looking for a great dinner experience after a long day of fun in the sun, I cannot recommend TJ Reeds/Flippers enough.

Gulf shrimp po boy is big and excellent. Sides of fries and tater tots really good. Chicken nuggets just ok prices good

Great atmosphere and fantastic food. I only wish we lived locally because it was a wonderful meal experience.

Always great service and good at TJ's! Crawfish are large this season and seasoning is on point
