I like it here! It's a great spot to get a good drink/beer and some food. The staff is always friendly and helpful if your not exactly sure what you feel like eating or drinking.Wound up stopping in yesterday with my bestie for a bite to eat. The bartender/waitress was great! Oh and their outside seating setup was so darn cute!!

Disappointed. After reading many glowing reviews, we decided to visit Tin Can Bar on a very cold January evening. My wife is a tiki drink fan, and I purchased a ticket to the Burger Crawl, so this seemed like a good date night spot. For those unaware, the purchase of a $50 Burger Crawl ticket allows the holder to get a free burger at participating restaurants (Tin Can is participating) in addition to entry into the final judging. We got lucky with a parking spot right in front, but be aware that this is a neighborhood joint and parking isn't always easy. Got a spot at the bar and was greeted by the bartender. We could tell right away she was in a mood. Every question seemed to irritate her. I ordered a beer and the "burger crawl burger," which she said was not on the menu and was the size of a slider. Ok, a slider is not what I was expecting, but it's a free burger, so I'm not going to complain. For context, the 4 prior restaurants I visited during the burger crawl provided standard-size burgers, not a slider. My wife ordered a Zombie and wings which she said were tasty. The Zombie-on-tab was good too. When the bill came i saw they had charged me for the burger! The moody bartender had left and the new girl didn't know anything about the Burger Crawl or that the burger should have been gratis. The food was tasty, but everything else about my experience was disappointing.

Great bar/restaurant. First it has a nice local vibe. Not a huge place but large enough to accommodate customers on a busy night. Went there with the family on a Tuesday evening, which was there $1 taco night. The draft beer selection was good & during their Happy Hour, prices were very good. In addition to a taco (just to try) had the pretzels and Brussel Sprouts appetizers. All were good. Had a variety of entrees: chicken sandwich, chicken platter, pulled pork sandwich & vegan burger. Again, all were good. Service was friendly & accommodating. Looking forward to my next visit.

If you ever catch yourself in the Fishtown/Port Richmond area - make sure to stop by this place. Really fun & local vibes here. Service is friendly, and just overall, this restaurant is adaptable. I follow them on social, and they are always changing and adjusting to the current pandemic and dining restrictions, and their offering has remained consistent (in a really good way.) They have a creative menu, from chicken sandwiches & burgers, to tacos and salads. Really solid options for vegetarians. I would consider it upscale bar food. We had a chance to try an apple pie dessert, which was FIRE! Totally recommend if they still have on the menu. Also, really cool bar scene. Drinks are great, fairly priced. I cant wait till they can operate at full capacity again!

To think I didn't go to Tin Can Bar for so long because I was still lamenting the loss of Bait and Switch! While I do miss the prior iteration of this location, Tin Can bar is the next best thing. The same bartender who used to mix my schuylkill punches is now mixing my blood orange margaritas and they are equally kick ass. He is an amazing bartender and I'll follow him anywhere, but for my convenience I hope he stays there. The food was so good too! I wish the menu had a little more but what we tried was wonderful. We shared the Nashville wings which are the same as they were with Bait and Switch, delicious as ever. Some of my favorite wings around. My boyfriend got a burger which he really liked. I got the bbq pork platter which was a revelation. The fries are absolutely fantastic. I'd like to say I got collard greens as my other side but alas I got the macaroni and cheese but I regret nothing. We are also loving the vibe here. The decor is a little darker which we dig. The pin ball machines, though not functioning during my visit, would be pretty cool, and the outdoor area promises to be lots of fun in warmer weather. I can't express my unbridled joy at this place doing its predecessor justice. I encourage my fellow hoodrats to make this place a fixture on their neighborhood rotation, and anyone else to come give it a try.

I must admit-when bait and switch closed I had hoped this would become another banger Mexican place like the other joints by this owner. It didn't, but I suppose I'll survive with the bloodnorange. On behalf of the entire neighborhood-BRING BACK THE PRICKLY PEAR MARGS

So good!!!!!! That's all - you should definitely get there if you live in Philadelphia! Great portions too. The pickled veggies with the wings were such a nice touch. Drinks, food, and service all 5 stars!

My husband and I went out to dinner on a whim. We heard that The Tin Can Bar was dog friendly, so we went with our dog Roxy. Stephanie the waitress came out, she could not have been nicer. She brought water for Roxy when she brought our drinks. The food was great and the service was excellent!! We had a great time!! Our new favorite restaurant!! Thank you Stephanie!
