Fried chicken wings...and fried rice?! Okay now at first I was a little apprehensive, but come on, fried anything (almost) is always good, right?! RIGHT! Now my coworkers swore I had to go to here...so we did! 6 piece of wings and some shrimp fried rice was my order and I didn't even come close to finishing it. Portion size is HUGE! The only downside was the thing they called a biscuit...man I couldn't eat the oil filled thing that resembled fried biscuit dough...Perfectly crispy wings with great flavor and a nice crunch. Lots of flavorless fried rice with the smallest shrimp I've ever seen...but with some soy sauce it was good! For the price, it's amazing! Is it the best, no. But when you're craving some oily fried chicken and huge portion of fried rice that could feed two people, you can't beat it!

I don't understand how places like this stay in business. I ordered general Joe chicken with fried rice and 4 wings. The general joes "chicken" had a taste and consistency of which I've never had. Disgusting is an understatement. The fried rice tasted like it was weeks old. The wings tasted like they hadn't changed their oil in months. I took one bite of each and just couldn't choke it down. Literally left the entire meal on the table with one bite out of it. Told the lady working there it was awful and just walked out. Don't waste your time.

Very bad service and they charge for every little extra thing they put in your order. I would never recommend.

I had not visited their location in a few years so when I was asked to lunch there I jumped at the idea. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are huge! I had the wings and fried rice and when I got my plate it was heavy, I had to hold it with two hands! I had 4 whole wings and so much rice I knew I wouldn't eat it all at this sitting. The food is served in to go plates so it's easy to carry out the excess. The wings were fried well they were crispy but not too crispy. My rice had chicken, pork and beef in it. I was able to have dinner with my leftovers. Want a lot of food for a little price, visit them they will not disappoint.

This is the only Timmy Chan location I go to. They're outside and inside decor may not be that appealing to some people but their food I can definitely appreciate. Every time I am on this side of town, I always go get a large shrimp lo mein with a strawberry Kool-Aid. The large shrimp lo mein is my favorite and I am very picky about how my shrimp lo mein is made and at this location they make it just right. I've tried other locations and they don't compare to this one. Also, their Kool-Aid is the best, it's better than something I can make myself. The shrimp fried rice is also delicious. I always order my food to go through the drive-through. So if you're looking for some quick delicious Chinese food that's inexpensive I recommend this location.

I just had to leave this place in utter shock.i can't believe what I saw. 2 adult rats and 1 small one walking around the back of the counter where the plates and cups where at. I've been coming here for years I wonder what else is going on behind the scenes. I will never come back and let everyone I know how disgusting this place is.

if you want a ton of food for a little money and don't care about flavor this is the place for you. I ordered the fantail shrimp and fried rice. There was so much rice there was leftovers but there was just not much flavor. Nothing tasted bad, there just wasn't much taste. I did order the 2 egg rolls for $1.25 which was good but not a place that i would probably give a second try. looking at the other reviews it looks like its a roll of the dice on the quality but the portions are always large.

Disgusting food, filthy and smelly exterior. I normally go to the Timmy Chans by my dads in SW Houston which is very good and get the oyster meal. I went to this highway 6 location on 4/8 and they didn't have the oyster meal, so I'm settled for the 12 piece shrimp and fries. It was hot and has large portions BUT This was by far the worst shrimp meal I have ever had from ANY restaurant much less Timmy Chan's. The shrimp had NO seasoning at all. It was fried in cornmeal with no salt, pepper or seasoning of any kind. I also bought a tiny side order of creamy ranch to dip my fries in and it was just as bad. It tasted NOTHING like delicious ranch dressing you get at sit down restaurants. I called the manager Evelyn and she was apologetic and said she would replace the meal but I had already thrown the rest of it away. I told her I just wanted her to know how bad and unseasoned the food was and that I was doing a Yelp review. I also suggested to the manager that she eat the shrimp in the ranch and judge for herself that it's just absolutely awful. The food was so bad that when she offered me a free meal I told her I didn't even want it. I can't speak for all the food here, but the shrimp meal is TRASH! Straight garbage. Also when I went thru the drive thru you can smell the sewage. I should have known then to leave. I will NEVER EVER go back to this location not even for a free meal! Just beware! You're better off going to Long John Silvers for shrimp. You've been respectfully warned.

I was at Timmy Chan on highway 6, and ordered sweet and sour chicken at the drive through, I got home the chicken was hard as a rock. It look like it had been refried. This happened Saturday. I will never go here again. The owner should know about this. They should close that restaurant down for serving food like that.

Worst Chinese food I have ever had in my whole entire life. Don't go there!!!Find a REAL Chinese restaurant. Okay , you have been warned!!!!!
