Time & Peace Cafe

My favorite cafe in Philly! I'm in love with the ambiance here- dim lighting with yellow lamps, bookshelves, paintings, dark wood, Bill Evans in the background. The workers here are also always so kind.The drinks here are also high quality and rich in taste. I've had the walnut cappuccino and regular cappuccino, both of which have foam that matches the smoothness of velvet. Their iced coffee definitely tastes like a darker roast, so it makes for a refreshing pick on a hot day! I feel like there's a lot of attention to detail poured into in each drink they make which is so rare and appreciated. Time & Peace makes for the perfect place to spend a cozy Sunday morning catching up with a friend or alone with a book.

I absolutely love coming here, it is so peaceful. They have amazing art displayed all over the cafe as well as a Piano and a Guitar for anyone to play. Their bathroom is also spacious, clean and well equipped.We went for our morning coffee today. Tried the cheese danish which was super flaky, buttery and had a mild sweet cheesecake filling. Very tasty if you ask me! The barista went above and beyond by serving it warm - I feel like nobody does that anymore. I also love the fact that she added shredded coconut rim to the White Coconut Mocha - which was delicious by the way. And the addition of chocolate sprinkle on my Mocha! These little details tell you how much she enjoys and respects her work. They are kind of hidden and like another reviewer said, it is easy to miss them if you don't know where to look. I wish they moved to Society hill area, I feel like they will get much more appreciation and traction there which will be good for their business.

We found this place on Yelp and decided to stop by. This coffee shop is downtown in the middle of everything. It's a small little coffee shop with dim lighting. As soon as you walk in there's the menu and you order the drink. Behind there it's the tables. There's books and board games. The girls who were working were helpful and patient with us. I ordered a latte. It was good and service was good. Overall good experience!

This is a really cozy cafe with a dimly lit interior and quiet music. It's a good place to get work done and enjoy one of their drinks. I always get the walnut maple latte which is delicious. Lining the rim with walnuts is a really nice touch and elevates the drink!

Walk to fast and you'll miss it, but in this very homely coffee house with low lighting and books covering the walls, there's some fantastic coffee and food! Service - super nice and on top of everything! Coffee - delicious and unique flavors within the drinks. It took a little bit of time, but was definitely well worth it. Food - While I wasn't a huge fan of my bagel, the pastries were very good (cheese danish and cinnamon roll)Definitely a try among all of the coffee houses around. It is something unique and also quiet. If you are looking for more of a relaxing and subtle shop, this is the way to go!

This cafe is a solid spot for grabbing a coffee and getting some work done. I got a salted caramel latte iced, and it was a decent latte. I enjoyed the almond croissant, which the barista was nice enough to heat up without me having to request it. I went during the summer and the AC + dark ambiance was a perfect respite from the unwavering heat. I loved the wood decor, from the bookshelf to tables and chairs.

Amazing hidden gem we found yesterday near ~7th and Chestnut. The coffee was really good (cool signature drinks and lots of options), the owner was super nice (doing both the register and coffee himself), and the inside has the perfect coffee shop vibe.Will absolutely be coming back!

A cozy and not too busy coffee shop. I went here to work a bit and love the atmosphere. There were paintings on the wall, a bookshelf in the back and some art pieces. They were playing jazz instrumental which is soo nice and soothing. They have a good selection of espresso drinks, specialty lattes and pastries that look delectable.I had a chamomile tea which was good.I am docking off one star because the girl who took our order could have been more nice about it. She was not rude but didnt look like she enjoyed being there either - it felt weird.

Such a cute little coffee shop that's been flying under the radar. It was very quiet when I went- perfect place to go if you need to get some work done. Very cozy and intimate without feeling cramped. The coffee was great and they have a small selection of food, too. The barista was friendly. Will definitely come back next time I'm in the area.
