Third Gen Coffee

Ambiance: Aesthetically pleasing coffee shop with upstairs & downstairs seating tucked away in a small boutique shopping area off Sawdust. Open & airy - lots of industrial pieces combined with plants & art. There is also patio seating outside that is kid/dog friendly. Great spot for studying, working on your laptop, or meeting a friend for a morning coffee. I love their frozen cold brew and my friend highly recommends the London Fog tea! Assortment of croissants and small bites available to purchase. Decent pricing for cafes in the area. Parking onsite & quick service. Highly recommend this quaint shop!

I've been here twice. The first time was ok. My drink was a little sweeter than I prefer, but I did order the Cane Break/Brake?, whatever, and I expected it to be sweet.The second time, a coworker kept telling me I had to have their King Cake Latte. I'm a La. native, so I have standards, lol. It was nothing but pure sugar. No taste of King Cake or cinnamon whatsoever. After drinking nothing but sugar, I had to go get a cafe au lait. And it was nothing but water. I asked my friends to taste it and they said it was watered down too.My croissant was a little dry, it was cold in there on a cold day, and house music was playing. Not my favorite coffee shop. Can The Woodlands get a good one?!! Please!

Coffee at third gen is such a comfort for me! I usually get sugarfree sweeteners in my coffee, and not all coffee places do it right, but of course third gen nails it! Every single time! The baristas here have always been very kind and nice too, like we aren't actually bothering them haha! If you're there, try their croissant sandwich, it's delicious. It has a very welcoming atmosphere, and some outdoor space as well.

This cute little coffee shop is an absolute gem!! Searched on Yelp for the best chai latte around where we were staying for our baby moon and this was number wrong. My fellow Yelpers did not go wrong!! I came back again before we left for another chai latte and wish I had another! Service is great and everyone is super friendly. They get your drink to you fast and you can relax inside, upstairs in the loft, or outside! This is a must if you are in the area! Ask for an iced chai tea latte with oat milk and vanilla! THE BEST I've ever had!!

So, I was not expecting it to be as busy as it was. The customers did not stop flowing (always a good sign). This was my second visit and I really enjoyed my food and beverage. The gentleman behind the counter understood my food allergy and went the extra step to check the products before I put my order in. If you're looking for a place to hangout, they have seating on their second level as well..lots of folks working remotely. I will say, if you want something more quiet, this would not be the place as it is busy and noisier for people who would like a super quiet place to work. Would like to bring my dad as he would be thrilled about the Honduran coffee choices.

Fresh blueberry muffins, limited drink selection with unique latte options, warm customer service. 2 stories with outside seating, a good fit for mid day coffee, studying, or working lunch.

This is one of the most enjoyable cappuccinos I've ever had. The expresso had an aggressive dark roasted coffee flavor softened by the creamy milk foam poured in a tulip pattern on top (sorry I didn't take a picture).I appreciate the option of drinking from a real coffee cup when "dining in". The seating area had various nooks to hang out in for work, study, or socializing with friends. Thanks for making me look smart to the friend that I asked to meet me there!

This place is my go-to when I'm on this side of town. I usually get the cinnamon roll latte with oat milk and the ham & cheese croissant and they both are so delicious. Will have to visit soon and try some new items! Definitely recommend.

Cute and trendy coffee shop in The Woodlands! 100% recommend a stop at Third Gen!I was driving from Houston to Dallas and was in desperate need of coffee and food. I'm so happy I decided to try Third Gen to fill that void! The interior is modern with ample room to sit down. The barista's were very friendly and the service was relatively quick! I ordered the seasonal Pistachio Latte and an Egg and Cheese Croissant. The latte was incredible! Not overly sweet and had the perfect hint of pistachio flavor at the end of every sip. The croissant was very fresh and filling. I will definitely be back next time I'm in the neighborhood!
