The Viceroy Royal Indian Dining

Great Indian spot in Dunwoody. We get it delivered to us in Atlanta when we want Indian. But their daily lunch buffet is fantastic. They bring out naan(plain but not dry). We go there for the goat and chili peppers. Pull up on the weekend and it tends to be busier, but it includes chai and mimosas!

I came here with my friend a few months back for dinner, much to their recommendation. I took cues from them on what to order, and with some encouragement, I tried a few new dishes this time, along with my classic favorite: Korma Chicken.The mango lassi was a shared delight, with its thick, creamy, fresh and sweet taste. It was a perfect choice for us to split and enjoy together. Her goat curry, medium spice, was fantastic, and I could taste the flavor of the meat, not just the gravy it was smothered in.The Chicken 65 was a great appetizer, and so filling. I love the spicy tomato sauce.My chicken korma was sweeter than I've had elsewhere and not quite my favorite to date. It was still delicious, and I enjoyed most of my meal. The rice was perfectly fluffy, and the naan was crispy and garlicky. I look forward to coming back again when I'm OTP and want to enjoy some good Indian food!

I think we've found our go-to Indian Restaurant! We came here on a Tuesday night and made a reservation, but it wasn't packed so we definitely didn't need to make the reservation. We were seated immediately. The service was really great and we didn't have to wait long for anything. We started with chicken 65 and vegetarian samosas. The chicken 65 was so good and spicy. It was also very saucy. The flavor was out of this world. The samosas were fine as well but the chicken 65 was definitely the winner for appetizers. Our main entrees were lamb vindaloo and chicken curry with spices of 3 and 4, respectively. I highly recommend both as well as the garlic naan. I'm definitely looking forward to returning.

Pretty good Indian restaurant located close to the Perimeter Mall. We ordered the chicken 65 (used too much red color), gobi manchurian, roasted papad, and vegetable pakora (were only 7 pieces). Tasted good but it wasn't warm enough, maybe it was leftover from the lunch buffet they offer? They have a spice level scale from 1-5(hottest), we ordered a 3.For dinner we ordered chicken tikka masala, vegetable jalfrezi, and paneer kadhai. Everything was warm and we also upgraded to a level 4 because we thought the 3 for appetizers was super mild. This was a huge JUMP. Not sure why it came out extremely spicy. I wonder if they warmed it up only because we adjusted the spice level, if we hadn't, would the food come out cold like the appetizers did? The service is ok, appetizers came out quickly since they were probably premade. Not customer service really, the staff seemed like they were just doing their job to do their job rather than making customers feel welcome. Modern looking restaurant in a random plaza next to a liquor store. The bathrooms have pictures of famous Bollywood actresses. Overall - good restaurant as a first timer, but could upgrade their quality and customer service.

The Viceroy Royal Indian Dining was an excellent place to visit for a great meal. When approaching the restaurant it looks as if it is just a hole in the wall location but once you are inside you can see how lovely it is. The ambiance is excellent with comfortable seating, cleanliness, nice lighting, and good decorations.The service was another outstanding point about the experience. The wait staff and host were both very attentive, helpful, and kind. This led to helpful suggestions throughout the meal and never having the feeling of looking around for a server and not finding one.Lastly the food was outstanding as well. Not only is it tasty, but it is fairly priced and comes in very adequate portions. We had the chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, and garlic naan which were all very delicious.Overall this was a great spot and I'm glad we found a welcoming place to have Indian food nearby.

This was my first time trying an Indian buffet, and it was really good! There were several meat options- I think my favorite was the butter chicken! I also liked the cucumber salad. The naan was amazing! I would probably comeback just for the naan-- fresh, warm, and flavorful with the addition of garlic! I wish they had more dessert options, but both the rice pudding and mango sauce were tasty! Overall, I would return and recommend giving Viceroy a try!

Great buffet items, and always fresh. Highly recommend this place! This has become one of our favorite to-go place for lunch.

This place is a real bargain if you go for the lunch buffet. Only $14.98 AFTER tax! The service was good and there was plenty of food to choose from. They even bring a basket of naan to you at your table which was a nice bonus.They could easily get five stars out of me but as I'm often seeing these days, the food seems to be a bit toned down to please the general public. I know this is probably something that restaurateurs are having to do with their buffets these days to please the maximum amount of people.So yeah, I'm sure I'll go again and again as I love to am see these Indian lunch buffets coming back to life!Please support this lunch buffet.

While the UberEats delivery was very late and the food barely warm, the meal itself was EXCELLENT. I have visited India over 100 times for business and eaten in Indian Restaurants all over the U.S. and the World; The Viceroy Royal Indian ranks among the top; even compared to eating in India itself. The Saagh Gosht (Lamb Saag), Aloo Mattar and Tandoori Murgh (chicken) were spot on...spiced perfectly. We will go back in person next time.

First of all, the restaurant is impeccable!! We were greeted and sat right away. I went with a colleague and we both ordered appetizers and main entrees. The food was amazing and you can tell it was fresh. The staff was super attentive throughout the meal. We never had to ask for anything because they were always ready to fill our glass and remove plates that were no longer needed at the table. We were never rushed. The entire experience was great. Will definitely return next time I'm in town.
