My wife and I decided to stop by this place on a Monday. Staff was friendly, place was clean and cozy, and food was really good! We had a salad, organic green tea and the cousin Sal pizza pictured in this review. Would 100% recommend anyone to try this place.

Thin crust with a light sauce and just the right amount of cheese and toppings. Pie was sizzling hot when served. Cooled nicely and slices separated well. Loved the pizza and serving was more than needed for a meal but ate it all anyway. Harley tea drinks served!!! Definitely a plus. Seats were metal without cushioning. Tables were close together, neither of which effected the meal, but not a place to linger. Grab and go would work well.

If you love Manayunk's Couch Tomato, but moved further out to the 'burbs, you're going to be thrilled that Conshohocken now has The Tomato Shack, featuring all of your Couch Tomato favorites. My husband picked up an order for the two of us on his way home from work - a quick hop off of 76 and right back on with our salads. I had the Pear-fection, my long-time favorite, and it was everything I remembered. The pears were a bit out of season and it was slightly overdressed, but all in all, a really solid salad.

I have been wanting to try this place forever and finally went. The parking leaves much to be desired so upon arrival I was not expecting much. The place inside is ok, the food is delicious. I had an atomic veggie sandwich it was good I asked for focaccia but I am pretty try sure it was not focaccia bread but good nonetheless, it would of been nice if it had a small side even chips. My hubs had a Caesar salad, $11 for literally romaine lettuce is ridiculous imo I'left it were chicken Caesar it would have been fine but it wasn't , however the dressing was really good. It was worth checking out!

I was in town for a quick work trip and walked over from my hotel. I loved that it was Organic and locally sourced. I got the Buffalo chicken sandwich and a fresh organic tea. There wasn't much Buffalo on the sandwich so not overly hot. The service was great and glad I found this small cafe by the train track. I sat inside but there is some outdoor seating.

Hubs and I lament that there are no good panini places for lunch- first world problem, I know We usually schlep to the Foodery in Phoenixville but now I won't need to. Our sandwiches were good and large enough to share one - the house made focaccia bread is filling. The brand of chips they carry are also enough to satisfy this former Berks County girl's love of a chip in the style of Good's IYKYKIt's cute and clean inside and the counter service was friendly. Definitely stopping in again since it's so close by.

So glad I finally tried The Couch Tomato! I eat vegetarian/vegan in general and have been GF and soy free for over a year. (I should note these aren't strict allergies, so I can't speak to cross contamination.) It's hard to find a good place with tasty, healthy food that offers options for my preferences/restrictions AND also serves as a option for when I'm with people who want good "normal" food. The Couch Tomato does all of this really well. I tried the Atomic Veggie sandwich with GF bread and vegan cheese. It was good and the vegan cheese is mild with nice flavor/texture. I also ordered a custom pizza with caramelized onions, artichokes and mushrooms on GF crust. The GF pizza is the best GF crust I've had! It holds up well as a vehicle for the toppings, has balanced flavor, and has a satisfying texture - soft in the middle with crispy edges. The toppings, sauce and cheese are delicious too, so it's great as a whole. I'm so happy to have a pizza that doesn't make me feel like I'm wasting the calories. The personal pizza is a good size too. If I'm not starving, I can get a meal and a snack for later out of it.I also hear that the soups are great. Other than the tomato soup, I have only seen meat-based soups on the menu, but would be excited to try vegetarian options if offered. The staff is really kind and does a great job of inspecting orders before handing them to customers. The price for a personal GF pizza is a smidge higher than I'd like, which only impacts how frequently I'll go. I really enjoy the food so it's still worth it, and have been there a few times since I first went about a month ago!

Decided to get some pizza & tried the Tomato Shack. We dined in & everything was spot on. From being greeted, the service was good, and the quaint smaller interior was nice and cozy. The pizza was perfectly done with a nice crispy crust along with just the right amount of sauce & cheese. Please check this place out if you are in the mood for pizza, salad, or breadsticks. Delicious.
