The food was so good that we didn't take any pictures but it's definitely a clean, modern restaurant in the Woodlands area of Houston. I had the brisket scramble and added spinach with the potato (it was a hash brown with cheese and something else but it was pure delight!). The fruit wasn't as fresh but the rise and shine margarita was delish! My young adult children had apple and oats French toast and a side of sausage patties. It was sweet and savory and enough to feed a small army. My husband had the shrimp and grits which had a kick after each bite but yummy. The grits were a little stoney but some people like it like that. We tend to like smooth grits but it was still good. I'd give this place a 9/10. The service was awesome. Everyone was friendly and patient as it took us some time to decide what we wanted to try.

Great location with plenty of parking to the side of the restaurant. There's also a public parking garage conveniently located behind the restaurant. Short walk. Outdoor and indoor seating. Restaurant pristine. Lots of natural lighting. Industrial meets farmhouse decor. Came here for brunch during our short visit to Houston. We were greeted by the hostess, who seated us right away to a large booth. Very generous portion on their mimosas, which was refreshing. My sister ordered the Avocado Toast, which she loved. I had the Southwestern Breakfast Bowl. Huge portion. It had kale quinoa, bulgur wheat, brown rice, rosemary chicken, sausage, cherry tomatoes, black beans, jalapeños, and guacamole tossed in our tomatillo salsa and topped with two eggs. Unique flavor!! It was amazing.Highly recommend giving Toasted Yolk a try!!

My wife and I were seated immediately for our Friday 8:30am bkft gorging. The drinks were great - all mimosas are 50% off on Fridays! The pineapple mimosa was better than the strawberry one- and both were good. The strawberry casa-hito drink was awesome as was my iced caramel macchiato. Food wise, we destroyed the shrimp & grits but they were a little bit spicy. We also liked the potato cake casserole, and for breakfast dessert, the blueberry donuts were superb. Great service and plenty of parking in the garage.We went back the following day and had another excellent breakfast. The Southwest Breakfast Bowl had a good spectrum of flavors (but was too heavy on the chicken sausage). The Churro Donuts are life-changing- save room for them...

I love they have plenty of outdoor seating, it's quite relaxing and peaceful to dine outside. It's very convenient to come here for lunch after a play date at the Play Street Museum right next door. I got the two eggs breakfast deluxe, everything taste decent, but it is definitely overpriced. Particularly, I feel misled during the ordering process. I was asked if I would want buttermilk biscuit or toast, I chose toast, but little did I know I would have to pay $1 extra for toast. I was also asked how I would like my eggs, scrambled with cheese or other options, and again I had to pay $1 extra for scrambled with cheese. I wish I was told when there'll be extra charges for the options presented, it was deceiving.

I'm in town covering a sporting event and was in need of breakfast to feed my 40 person crew. We tend to have super early start times and I was having difficulty finding places that I could place an order with. The Toasted Egg not only opened early for fulfill my catering needs not once, but twice. Lionel, the manager, and his team were incredible to work with and so accommodating. Not to mention, the food was a hit! 10/10 would recommend going to this establishment.

Our experience at The Toasted Yolk was hands down one of the best we have had in The Woodlands. The food was incredible, but most importantly Alfredo, our server, was attentive and anticipated our every need. He was so kind, and even helpful as we practiced our Spanish as new learners. Bravo!!!!!
