I had a really enjoyable breakfast here! I liked everything, from the quality of the food, the wonderful staff here and the prices are very fair! The atmosphere and the decor of this restaurant is pleasing and fun. On arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff and seated right away, even though they were very busy. The staff brought us our menus and took our drink requests bring us coffee that was freshly brewed. After looking over the menu, my wife decided on blueberry pancakes and the waitress recommended to me the favorite standard eggs, sausage, hash browns and sourdough toast. Both of our items came out very quickly from the kitchen hot and delicious! The pancakes were a stack of three 12-in very fluffy Flapjacks with loaded with fresh plump and juicy blueberries. The one thing that always makes a restaurant unique is that they bring out warm maple syrup instead of room temperature. I think warm pancake syrup always taste much better! On my plate, my eggs were scrambled, the sausage was perfectly seasoned (and probably some of the best I've had) and the hash browns were unique because they are actually from a casserole and not just fried on a greasy grill. You can really taste the love and quality in those hash browns. The sourdough toast was also really delicious and thick cut slices, just like sourdough should be. The prices here are very reasonable and you can anticipate about $18 per person for a plate of food and coffee. The staff keeps the dining area clean and tidy. And all of them are very attentive and have fantastic attitudes and make you feel welcome. I definitely give the Toasted Yolk two BIG thumbs up and recommend this is a great place for breakfast! The food, the quality, the service, the staff and the overall experience really made it enjoyable and relaxing! I will definitely be coming back here again!

This place is a breakfast staple in Houston...well to me anyway. You can always count on good food from this place. The service is always good too and the atmosphere is a laid back family vibe.I had the pork chop breakfast. It came with eggs and I chose the hashbrown casserole. It was a Chef's kiss!My daughter had pancakes, eggs and bacon. I didn't care for her pancakes. Yes, they were big but that would only excite me if I liked them. She loved them (she's 14) and that's what matters. I like my pancakes crispy around the edges. One thing I am a lover of is sweet tea. I believe because we're in the south, the sweet tea HAS TO BE RIGHT...it wasn't...Quick Tip for sweet tea that's not sweet:Ask if they have simple syrup. It mixes better that granulated sugar. This also works in fancy restaurants that only have unsweetened tea. The biscuit...maybe it was not good because it was close to closing time...I hopeOverall, I will be back. I typically get ranch turkey BLT with avocado...but substitute the turkey with fried chicken...Listen to me...JUST DO IT

My wife and I go every Friday. Everything on the menu is great. They have a variety of egg Benedict which they call an Arnold. Eggs Benedict are one of my favorite breakfast dishes and the variety they have is wonderful. Literally had most items on their breakfast menu and love them all. The staff is amazing, friendly and great service. Highly recommend.

I stopped in for biscuits and gravy on a Friday morning. I was seated quickly and the waitress came by shortly afterwards. I had orange juice which I am not sure if it was fresh or not but tasted good. My meal came with 2 large, baked biscuits and the gravy had a decent amount of sausage (I like more meat than the average person). The taste was great, I didn't have to add any salt or pepper and I would order it again.

I probably come here entirely too often, but the coffee is fresh and they have no problem supplying me the amount of cream and sugar that I require ha ha. The staff is always friendly, and I always ask them. What is their favorite menu item and it has led me to try many things that I never would have considered for myself, especially with my food allergies and they usually help me order it perfectly

The question I ask myself is why do I keep going back to this restaurant. I will say I gave 2 stars vs 1 because my waitress, Alexa F., even though she totally botched my order was awesome. She was so sweet and personable and after the mess up super apologetic. The food was ok, nothing special but apparently from what the manager tells me, they believe an eggs Benedict is preferred with fried eggs not poached eggs like it shows in every picture on the menu. I think either the chef doesn't know how to poach an egg or I was being lied to because I eat eggs Benedict's all over the country and I've never received one with a fried egg unless it was specifically noted on the menu. Restaurant was very busy but they got us back in seats pretty quick and like I said the waitress was great so she got us coffee and everything we needed in a timely manner. Honestly best part was the waitress. Nothing more to add, I will likely not go back. Happy Fooding!!

Love the Toasted Yolk. I go at least once every couple of months, when I'm in town visiting my mom. The service is great and so is the food.

First time we came the food was "ehh." Gave it another try today and it was gross. Hostess was sweet, but needed better hygiene. Ordered breakfast. Our eggs were so over cooked to the point they were brown. Biscuit was cold. Their pancakes taste like a watery cake. Not good at all!!! Their waffles taste like the hotel waffles you make for yourself. My daughter's toast was stale and the hashbrowns were also cold. Never again. Overpriced food! Almost $11 for one hotel waffle. Ridiculous! $10 for 2 over cooked eggs, a cold biscuit and a piece of sausage. I do not recommend at all!!!

Terrible service. Waited 20 minutes for our breakfast drinks. After our breakfast finally arrivedThen after breakfast we ordered 1 more drink Waitress brought 2 drinks instead and said there was confusion about it and she was sorry. She then came back 15 minutes later and said that the manager told her to charge me for the 2nd drink. I went ahead and paid for it. But it is just not right!!I didn't ask for it and she shouldn't have brought it!Very sketchy.
