Do you like hair in your food? How about two pieces of hair? Then you'll love the Toasted Yolk!Came here with the family the other day and had a terrible experience. I put us on the waiting list for a booth, when we arrived we were seated at a table which is fine no biggy (although what's the point of asking what type of seating you'd like if they don't accommodate it). I ordered the pancakes and sausage, my daughter got the french toast and my husband got an omelet. The pancakes were huge and nasty. The middle was undercooked and the sides were burnt. I had three bites and gave up. My husbands omelet was underwhelming, he said the eggs didn't taste fresh. This opinion is coming from a man who literally eats anything. Now for the "winning dish" my daughters french toast with a side of hair. I understand mistakes happen, however this is just unacceptable. One hair is bad enough but two is ridiculous. Do they not wear hair nets? No expeditor? No one with some what decent vision to check the food? When we finally found our waitress she apologized and replaced it. No manager was notified or sent over and we were still charged for the replacement, which my daughter had zero interest in eating after having two hairs in her first round of food. I worked back and front of house at several restaurants in my younger days, it's pretty standard to send a manager over for issues especially when it comes to hair in your food, I was shocked this didn't happen. It's also standard to comp the meal that had the issue, which also didn't happen (at first). I called for the manager and asked if he could take off my daughters meal since she wouldn't be eating it. He took it off but didn't really say anything in regards to the situation. Again, I realize mistakes happen but be accountable for them when they do happen. It's safe to say we will not be returning. I'll stick with Cypress Breakfast House.

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! This is my second time here and I'm hooked!!! I will be back, and I will request Andrew as my server; he was excellent!!I definitely recommend "The toasted yolk" and "The Arnold" but I'm excited to try other items on the menu next time!! I'm looking forward to coming back soon!

Birthday breakfast with My Boy! Bright and clean as we walked in. Got there early hoping to beat the crowd.... Turns out we beat the bartender too! No birthday chocolate martini for me! BUT....breakfast was great! Can't come without having beignets and coffee to start. Went for the special... Jalapeño/cheddar waffle stuffed with a crispy fried chicken breast, drizzled with Mike's hot honey yummy sauce, served with their hash brown casserole. Josue took great care of us! Thanks, bud!

My family and I frequent The Toasted Yolk Cafe a lot. There is something on the menu for everyone! I enjoy their drinks more than anything and my kids absolutely love their pancakes. Speaking of pancakes. . .they are HUGE!!! Even if you order the kids meal, its so much and I love it!This particular location has a nice patio and also an area where I always notice that staff has cartoons on for the kids that visit! HAHA. . .my kids love that. They have also added a few new things to their menu. I tried their jalapeno chicken and waffles and WOOOOO! It was great.The staff is always nice with smiling faces and the place is always clean. If you're in the area, you should visit.

We were greeted warmly and seated promptly. The space is open, airy, and bright and the service was equally energized and welcoming. I'd come to this place often for the vibes only. The food was the best we had all weekend while in Cypress. The pancakes were insanely large, buttery and cakey! One is plenty for one person with a decent appetite. One of my sons ordered the Reuben sandwich and wild rice and chicken and polished it off in no time flat! The avocado toast was simple perfect! I asked for the eggs on the side, and that was a good move. The bread was thick and buttery and topped with what appeared to be a whole avocado. I love that it wasn't mashed. It was seasoned with salt, pepper and topped with fresh pico de gallo. Not complicated. Pure perfection. My family of five ate for just shy of $90, but we didn't partake in any of the libation offerings. Maybe next time...because there will most definitely be a next time.

I ordered online, so I cannot attest to the ambiance. The entire order was messed up, I have a dairy allergy and was given a hash brown casserole with cheese. So there's that! I asked for regular hash browns!!! Then, I asked for chicken sausage, and was given pork, never got my grapefruit juice, and my eggs were extremely overcooked and gross. I ended up throwing the food away. I should've knew better when the order was ready soon after I placed it. Also, when I confirmed the order there was not ETA for when the food was to be ready and had to call and ask. I won't be back here, especially since I am sick and threw up.

I would Strongly recommend this place if you have not already tried it. I went ahead and signed in online for a table, since I saw there was a 4-14 min wait for a party of 2, & by the time we got there we waited less than 5 mins to be seated, the waitress was Awesome, since it was my 1st time being there she suggested the 2 Egg & a Cake & it was PERFECT, they appear to have a full bar which you can order a drink anytime if day, they also offer the whole menu all day as well, wonderful service, delightful staff, over all GREAT EXPERIENCE, I will be going back
