The option for sandy beach on the patio was very intriguing, however I did not wear the right shoes for a sandy walk on the beach. Luckily, there was a table on solid concrete, near the water feature which was available to us. I will sit out on sandy beach sometime that I am wearing flip flops. Service was great! The must-always-order-no-matter-what potstickers were ordered this special night. The chili oil just goes, you know?Try to make reservations if you like to (or can) plan ahead.

This review is for event hosting in their private room. We met with our book club, and having never heard of this place I was intrigued! The menu looks so good, and so many veggie options, and even mocktails! The private room has ample seating, and although it feels intimate, as a curtain divider is used to separate from the main eating space, we were promptly served and are needs were seen to every step along the way. They also do the European thing where they bring the card swiper machine to you, instead of walking away with the bill, and it makes for splitting the bill with a large group, super easy. I recommend trying the nudes noodles- so yummy and simple. And loved their popcorn chicken appetizer- served with actual popcorn, ha!

This place has a great Happy Hour and great burgers!!Went here on a Friday evening to celebrate my son's Bday. Had some HH drinks before dinner. Then time for the great burgers and fries. Thrilled to be treated with a free dessert for Don on his Birthday!!This place is small and does get crowded so we made reservations a week before.

This place was soooo good!! The parking lot was packed on Friday night so we parked in the neighborhood behind the restaurant and had a short walk over. Inside was super cute with xmas drinks and decorations. We were seated right away and offered complementary whiskey shots since they were promoting it, and it was a great way to start the night! We first got a bunch of apps to share: fries, pickled cucumber, shishito peppers, and pork dumplings. My favorites were the fries and pickled cucumber. The seasoning and crisp of the fries along with the dipping sauce is DIVINE. They were a little pricey but definitely worth it. The pickled cucumber also suprised me. I thought it would be okay but WOW the flavors and crunch really blew me away. I'd definitely get those two again. The shishito peppers and pork dumplings were good with good flavors but I would be okay without them. Next, I got the cheeseburger with egg. I was craving cheeseburger, and it definitely satisfied my craving. BUT my friend got the forbidden sub and OMG that was the best thing I had all night. The butter curry sauce with the meatballs was soooo good. Next time I go back, I'm getting the sub!! We also got the key lime pie at the end, which was a large slice, and it was perfect to end the meal. Just delicious!We also got some of the xmas drink specials and normal drinks but I didn't particilarly love any of them. I really just loved food hahaAll in all, this place definitely suprised me and I'll be back for my favorites and to try some more of the menu items!

Came for the Christmas decor and wanted an excuse to dress festive. Service - pretty average.. no complaints. Our waiter was able to answer any questions we had plus gave us recommendations. Food - we shared the Brussels sprouts and an order of fries. The MVP of this experience was the world famous cheeseburger. Add the THICC bacon ( and baby is it thicccccc) and you've got yourself a winner. Couldn't finish it because it was huge but so delicious. Drinks - pretty good. I tried a holiday drink but can't remember the name. Overall - I'll be back ... especially for that cheeseburger.

Absolutely love everything about this bar! From the food to drinks to immersive tropical decor and top-notch service, this is the perfect place to meet friends for a fun night out. Every cocktail we tried was perfectly balanced. Not overly sweet or too strong like a lot of tiki bar drinks can be. The "Tropic Like It's Hot" was my personal favorite drink and the burger was to die for.Vee was a great bartender! We can't wait to go back!

This place is a lil slice of paradise! The drinks are great. The chips and dip...worth it! It's the crunch for meeee! Best happy hour in the area! The outdoor ambiance makes you forget you are in Houston!

The shrimp torta is so flavorful. I ordered extra aioli sauce bc the bread was dry to me. The plantain chips are well made and the sauces it comes with are interesting. the Toasted Coconut drink was alright, too sweet for me--premade rum slushy w coconut flavor syrup at the bottom. The Mai Tai was delicious. The fresh mint and lemon really made the flavors pop. The service is not always good. They seem to be staffed but the service is slow. I like the bar tenders the best bc they're attentive. The ambiance outside is nice. The inside is cool with a lot of seating. The bathroom is clean and very chic.

Food was good (Cubano, Hamburger) for a tiki bar but the actual drinks were average and limited choices.

The most disappointing thing about this restaurant is it took me so long to find it. 5/5 stars. The ambiance and aesthetic were incredible. So I crossed my fingers that the service and food matched. Peter was our server and man he gave reccomendations that exceeded my expectations. I ordered a passion fruit lemonade, a burger with fried egg, vamos playa, and a lamb flatbread. When I say everything was flavorful and DELICIOUS !!! I would definitely recommend as I will be returning in the future. The burger was made with this Hawaiian bread (drools at the side of the mouth), the patties were SEASONED to perfection. OHhhh I also had fries that came with some aioli (you don't really need it) the fries come seasoned too. Needless to say this is the spot. The liquor hits too.
