Was skeptical at first about going here, but my daughter was in town and this place is close to where I live. Got a surprise. The food was really good. We got the pit boss and shared it. Come with 3 meats and sides. We chose brisket, ribs and burnt ends as our meats and beans mac and cheese and smashed potato for sides. Although not huge portions there was enough for us to enjoy. Price was reasonable for 2. Very pleasant server. I do recommend if going with someone to share

I came here with a small group on a Tuesday night to celebrate a friend's birthday after checking out the Tall Ship at the East Boston pier nearby. The Smoke Shop was a perfect place to hang out and we felt very welcome. The ambience is casual and low key and you can't beat the spectacular waterfront views! We even got to watch fireworks right outside the window.Since we had already eaten dinner elsewhere, none of us actually ordered BBQ (which is what they're known for), but we very much enjoyed what we did order. Two of my friends ordered the Carmelized Banana Bread Pudding, which was out of this world amazing!!! It was so smooth and creamy, and came with lots of whipped cream and cookies on top. I give that dessert 5/5 stars. One person actually ordered it the next day from Smoke Shop's Harvard Square location because it was so good! Another friend ordered the "Gooey Butter Cake- the crack," which was fine for a butter cake, but not as incredible as the banana pudding, which may be worth driving across town for. I ordered the Crispy Texas Spring Rolls off the appetizer menu as a snack. Our waitress said they are 4/10 on a scale for spiciness, but they were too hot for me. I asked for some sour cream to go with the spring rolls and was told they didn't have any, so she brought out some blue cheese dressing. I was pleased with the portion size. I got a large serving for an appetizer.Our server was attentive and friendly. I recommend The Smoke Shop and would like to check out their other locations. Next time, I will go there for a meal and order the brisket!

Smoke Show BBQ in East Boston is a MUST TRY! These are hands down some of the best wings I've had in my life. The rub they use is delicious and the wings fall off the bone. Our sides were also delicious. We got the Brussels and pimento mac n cheese that were amazing. A must try if you're in the area, and on Sundays they turn on the NFL games (with sound) making the experience even better. Our server was also very friendly and we had good conversation during our time there. Being on the water overlooking the city was another great touch!

We came for Sunday football, great place to watch the games with sound on. Good prices on beer pitchers. Highlight of the day was the food. We got the wings plate with their house rub... AMAZING. Perfect amount of sweet, spice, and flavor. We also got the Brussels, pimento mac, and cornbread.... Absolutely delicious

Visited last night for dinner. Our group tried a variety of things, smoked turkey, ribs, pulled pork. I especially loved the wings, cornbread and Mac and cheese bites. Beware the hot wings are really hot! Everything was great, we will definitely be back!

Hit the smoke shop after 7 on a Wednesday, hoping for some solid BBQ. My expectations were exceeded. The view is ama as it sits waterfront looking at the Boston skyline. The hostess and server were super sweet and efficient getting things to my table. I started with BBQ peanuts. Crazy good and hard to stop eating, luckily they came with a zip top bag so I took about half to go. Then I got a combo of three sides and three meats. Went with Burnt Ends, Ribs, and Brisket. Ribs were perfectly cooked and the burnt ends and brisket were great as well. Well seasoned and tender. Sauces were delicious too. The mustard sauce on the brisket was a showstopper. Sides were on point too. The sweet potato mash was like a fine dining side. Smooth and delicious. I know there are multiple locations but it is hard to imagine they have a better view. I will 100% be back when I am in east Boston, or near another location. So excited to have landed on a crave worthy spot!

BBQ is great, view is awesome, potato salad is sort of weak but my favorite thing is the mac and cheese bites-- seriously, they're like art. The best mac and cheese bites I've ever had. Not overly fried and oily--each bite is a deliciously seasoned and flavored lump of heaven.
