The Sandwich Factory

I drove past this location on my way to the local library. Glad I came back! Thanks to some solid Yelp reviews, I figured I'd have a good lunch here. Thanks to the previous three people that ordered right before me, I'd have the Chicken Med Wrap please. All the same- must be a favorite! It didn't disappoint. The men's restroom needs a new sink handle- it literally fell off in my hand. The main lady/owner? was walking around asking people who had which sandwich. Taking a name at order time would help cause less confusion.

This is a cute little spot in downtown Conyers, a throwback to soda fountain/deli counter places from the 50s. There are even photos of Elvis on the wall, which I absolutely loved. It's nothing fancy, but it's super cute and very homey. I was just passing through, but I got the feeling most of the people eating lunch when I visited were regulars. The restaurant advertises its Reuben as the star of the show, so I decided to order that. All of the meat and cheese is Boar's Head, and the bread was scrumptious. My sandwich was enormous, more than I could eat, and a simple pickle was the perfect accompaniment. If I'm ever back in the area and looking for a spot to grab lunch, I'll head here for very friendly service and excellent food.

Tried the place for the first time. Great customer service, great sandwich, great prices. The restaurant also was very nostalgic, very cool. My son had a Reuben sandwich I was able to literally get a bite. What a great bite it was. He finished the sandwich before we made it around the corner. Will definitely be returning to try breakfast and the other options they have.

My daughter and I absolutely loved The Sandwich Factory! We were welcomed with open arms and treated like old friends despite being the new family in town. My daughter loves exploring the vintage items through the restaurant. Great conversation starters!

Update, October 2024: It's been more than three years since I posted my last review. I've dined here many more times, and I have never had a bad meal. I've enjoyed several sandwiches and salads, but must admit I've never tried the pizza or hotdogs. However, I have a friend who craves the pizza and orders one every week. (The only reason I've never tried one is because there are so many good sandwiches and so little time!) My new favorite is the Chicken Mediterranean Wrap--try it pressed and add black olives.

The sandwiches here are lovely. The staff is always so friendly, and I love how people eating here are usually families and friends in groups. That says so much about how they feel in the establishment! You can't go wrong with any sandwich on the menu!

I went to this place earlier today my wife and I to get a sandwich I should have turned and walked away when I noticed three white kids behind the counter snickering when we walk through the door so we placed our order before we can turn our back to walk to the register to pay they were making racial remarks we decided not to eat there just a warning to all black people that place is not for us it sits right in the heart of good old Conyers I know I'll never go back

Lived here my whole life & had never been here but I will certainly be returning! Probably the best rueben I've ever had, especially for the price. We also had the tomato soup which was delicious. The ladies at the counter were so sweet & knew several customers by name. We also loved looking at all the antiques & photos. I only wish they were open later during the week but I think they're open a little later on Thursdays. The hours online are different than on the door. Either way, we can't wait to go back!

Best sandwiches ever!! And the pickle spear they give you is amazing. My fave is the chicken salad sandwich and pastrami

Great quality food, super polite service, cool environment and vibes. I'm not a big sandwich guy but this place was phenomenal. 10/10
