Gonna be harsh, but as a local I was disappointed by the quality. Having establishment be next to the water you'd expect the quality to be higher and a treat for anyone visiting our city. The chowder was very bland, not creamy, and lacking any chunks of salmon. It was also a little cold. Now, the bread. It was too damn stale and hard to bite into. I ate the crunchy parts because I was hungry but I was expecting better, and was disappointed. It could and should be a lot better for the prices too. It was decent service, polite people, but nothing to highlight.

Stopped by here on a whim while at the piers. Service was a little on the slower end, however it was a sunny Saturday - so the area was pretty crowded. The fries were great but the crispy salmon sandwich didn't have a very strong flavor. However the popcorn shrimp poboy had a good taste!

I've been to The Salmon Cooker before, and I know that it's a tourist trap. It's not all that bad if you know what you're getting into. I stopped by around 11:30am on a Monday. The place wasn't busy at all, so I got to order right away and received my food fairly quickly.Customer service was fine. Minimal interaction but servers are friendly. I got an order of the fried oysters, which includes 6 fried oysters on a plate of fries. This cost $17.95, which honestly was not worth the price since the fries were terrible. However, I felt that the fried oysters were legit. They were plump and juicy and tasted fresh, unlike other places whose fried oysters are tiny and taste super fishy.

While walking around Pikes Market and vicinity, we tried lots of food at "walk-up" establishments. This place had some of the best deep fried oysters we tried on our entire 5 day trip in Seattle. The oysters were large, cooked perfectly, and had a perfect amount of Panko crust that didn't take away from the fresh oyster taste. I also tried the deep fried scallops. Though small, they melted in your mouth and had a great buttery flavor. A person passing this place wouldn't guess they serve some of the best fried seafood we had on our entire trip! That is saying a lot because we tried quite a few places.

Geez, I wish I would've checked the reviews on this place before I went. I ordered the Smoked Halibut Sandwich. It had ZERO flavor. I had to add a ton of hot sauce for it to even taste OK. The soft bland fish paired with the super soft bread and the mushy tomato, the texture was just too mushy. The plate comes with fries, but I gave those away to a friend, so I can't speak about the fries. Two things that could make the sandwich better. Season the smoked fish. Toast or pan-sear the bread so it's not all one mushy sandwich. I was highly highly disappointed, especially after paying $30+ after taxes for a fish sandwich like that.

Bang Average! Normally we get the fish N chips near the wharfs or piers. We found this place right after we disembarked our cruise. Completely deceived by the lengthier waiting time and long line get the food. Wait was terrible. Took more than 15 mins to just to order our food another 10-15 to get it. Plenty of options for fish N chips. Pollock, salmon, halibut, both smoked and fried ones. It's starting at $15 too. We order couple of them and waited.Turned out to be nowhere near we expected it to be. Fish was deep fried, but no flavor at all. Not even salted. Same goes for the chips. Wonder how we are supposed to have it. The rush at the place still baffles me. Not worth for the money. Service was decent except the long wait time. Very average place!

I was enjoying the pier and I decided to stop by this place to have a cup of chowder and cold beer. This is the perfect place to grab a quick snack. They have all types of eats here. Seafood, ice cream and what I came for was the chowder! Awesome views of the water and the chowder did not disappoint. Service was super fast!

This a nice, little place right in the middle of a bunch of waterfront activities. We ordered the crispy salmon sandwich, oyster po boy and kids mini corn dogs and two drinks. We thought it was a little pricey for what we got ($65) but enjoyed the food. It was also much cheaper than the neighboring restaurants. It was all really good food. The fries were very good. I was impressed with the mini corn dogs. They were pretty high quality. On a nice spring weekday afternoon, there were a few other people there. Our service was fast and friendly. I'd probably come here again. There is a large menu with a variety of items that I'd like to try.
