Another reason I like Yelp. Finding restaurant gems in unfamiliar towns. The Picket Fence was great. Good home cooking with real friendly service from Jo. Wife had half a chicken salad sandwich and salad. She's a picky eater and loved it. I had the chicken fried steak with baked potato and Caesar salad. It was all perfect. So perfect that we returned for breakfast and again great friendly service and excellent French toast for wife and great omelette with bacon, spinach and mushrooms. Plus hash browns. Oh and then cake from the bakery. Large and quiet dining room. All and all a wonderful experience.

I Really really wanted to try this place smh. Literally only 3 family's(mixed race ) , 2 (white ) guys by the bar, a waitress told us to sit down and somebody will be with us shortly,waited almost 7 minutes, waitresses / waiter walking by and not even acknowledging us, hostess's has the nerve toAsk if we've been helped after she saw us sitting down the whole time. I had to walk out Discrimination to fullest.

Went in to have breakfast Sunday morning after church and had an amazing meal and experience. Our server Lee was amazing and gave some great recommendations to try from the new menu.. My mom had the Breakfast Croissant sandwich and I had the Crepes. Loved the crepes, the filling wasn't overly sweet and whip cream and fresh strawberries on top add a great bit of freshness. Will def. be back to try some of the other new brunch items that Lee recommended! and will always go back for the poblano soup and spinach sandwich which is my normal favorite.
