The Phoenix Bakery Market Cafe

Cute cute place. I really loved the set up and all the extras they have to offer at this bakery. I tried a breakfast sandwich today which was good and very reasonable. The place is busy and service was good. I asked a small group if we could share a larger table and they were very nice. I would definitely return to try a goodie.

Service was excellent and the pastries were amazing!! They weren't loaded down with sugar like most places.

One of the first places we visited when we moved & it's one of our fave places in Pittsboro. Delicious food. Local goods. Great ambiance. The cheddar rosemary biscuits are incredible.

Wish I could give 3.5 stars. We were passing through Pittsboro at about 2:30 on a weekday and stopped in for a quick bite. "What's the soup today?" "The kitchen is closed." Luckily there was a plethora of yummy-looking baked goods in the case, so we tried those. "What kind of juice do you have?" "We only have coffee or soda." "Okay, I'll have a coffee with milk." "We only have almond milk." Okay... So we had black coffee and a good-tasting bun. So, if you want sweet baked goods and black coffee, by all means stop in.

I love everything about this place. From the bakery goods, service, people everything. I'm fact I'm pretty addictive to this place. I'm gluten free and they have great selections for gluten free. Totally recommend this place

The staff here are rude. They seem only interested in getting the place closed on time. The only thing that keeps them going is no competition in the area and overall good products. I've been a customer for years since they started in their tiny first location on Hillsboro Street. Over the years I have seen a steady decrease in friendliness and customer service. It's all about "its time to close" attitude! Recently I made one final attempt to support this local business hoping for a better experience. I collected my sandwich to go and when I got in my car, I realized the sandwich had items on it that I was not expecting. I called back into the restaurant and when the staff person answered, I asked "what is supposed to be on this sandwich?" Her response, "We are getting ready to close." Unreal. Did not ask me what was wrong, nor did she offer me to come back into the restaurant, just "we are getting ready to close." So SAD!! This used to be a great place and now it's all about "we are getting ready to close." One day that might be permanently closed if they do not step up and improve customer service. More businesses are coming to Pittsboro, and it will be good for them to have some competition. They have developed the attitude that they are doing you a favor to make you a sandwich and charge $15 for that sandwich!

Excellent breakfast served til 2 pm. Wonderful baked goods too! We went there today. Great cakes too. Order ahead.

I'm only giving 2 stars because you guys are always sold out so early. If you know you sell your items out early-then why not make more?! I've gone numerous times (1 hour RT) and it's always the same. I just give up.

Very good bagels. Their coffee is actually good, not the portentously burned coffee you usually get at establishments run by young people.I love the location as it makes for a nice walk from my house. The people are always friendly and helpful.
