Living in the neighborhood, I have been to Perch several times and always have a good experience.Knowing this, when family was in town this week, we booked a quick reservation for five at Perch on Thursday evening, as they can get a bit busy. This was a great choice, as the ambiance is always great, the service was excellent, and never have any complaints with the drinks or food.We ordered a variety and all of it was great. We got both the cornbread and Brussels sprouts for apps...highly recommend both. I had the turkey burger, and additionally, salad, frites, and pasta was ordered. Everyone was very happy with their choices and it all tasted wonderful.I also tried the Gatorade powder sour beer they had on their menu, and that was pretty good as well.Highly recommend Perch if you are looking for a great restaurant on Division to stop into to get a bite

Stopped in for dinner on a weeknight, no reservation and had our dog and we were seated on the patio right away. Filet sliders, pork chop and Brussels sprouts were ordered, all items VERY good. They even have a dog menu and were super kind to our pup. Thanks for the friendly service and great food!

Went for Sunday brunch and had an excellent experience. Sever was new but did a solid job. Patio was a vibe and plenty of seating options outside. Overall the food was above average but we LOVED the selection available on the doggie menu. Multiple options served warm in a cute little bowl, we loved it. For my entree I got the biscuits & gravy, egg, and side of hashbrowns. Taste was on point, biscuits moist with a nice exterior, gravy thick with chunks of sausage. Sausage they use is over spiced a bit and def the main flavor of the gravy. Also didn't get enough gravy but really no biggie. Wife enjoyed the wicker park omelette, pretty standard.Got my dog some kind of scrambled egg, spinach, chicken bowl. She devoured it. Would highly reccomend if you'd like some nice patio action with the pup, otherwise wouldn't be on my radar as the food is above average, and the beer below.

Price: 2 for $65 (after sign up for $5 back, and use cash to avoid 3% COB fee)Food: I'd love to give a 3/5 on the food here coz they are kind of salty, that's why you need to order something to drink I guess, lol. Unfortunately, I was waiting for a long time to catch our server go get another water cos they are too busy, which make me feel more salty with the food only. The cheese curd actually have more than 65% vegetables, taste good but far to call it cheese curd.Service: 4/5 our server is really nice, very patient to introduce the drinks to us. Especially mentioned all the draft beer are in-house only, can't find it outside. And introduce us some of their sister restaurants. Ambiance: I love the loft style vibe, they have four different area, the bar, high table, regular table and couch. Make sure to rsvp if you prefer a couch.

The drink purple rain here is a hit! So are the lobster deviled eggs and the calypso shrimp. The rotisserie chicken needs more flavor, it was bland. Whomever created that signature in house seasoning need to go back to the drawing board or go sit in their grandma or auntie kitchen to get some lessons in seasoning because that ain't it. Nice location with a cool but small outdoor beer garden style area, with its own entrance and exit. which is nice. Our server, heavy set woman with black hair appeared to be overwhelmed with larger parties so maybe she should stick to smaller groups. Food and drinks came out timely tho. I would come back to try other items on the menu and sit indoors. They're two different vibes. Parking sucks in this area but hey it's Wicker Park so that's to be expected.

On a recent weekday when a friend and I both played "hooky" from work, we decided to treat ourselves to a nice lunch. And I'm so glad we selected The Perch for our treat!Impeccable customer service: A server who was attentive, engaging, but not over bearing. A great menu selection with a variety all upscale American fare. The spinach & artichoke dip, though not as good as my homemade one, is still pretty tasty. The blackened mahi sandwich was delicious: It's been challenging for me to find a good piece of mahi mahi since moving from the West Coast, and The Perch delivered. But, the star dish here: the Smoked Trout Toast. One word: Speechless! You MUST order this each time you come, or don't bother coming. LOL

Wonderful brunch spot. Kudos to them for sticking around and being a very successful business when they started up in 2020. Like smack dab in the pandemic.Came here for brunch with my gf during restaurant week, and truly they deserve the nomination and place in chicagos restaurant week. It's a lovely restaurant with very rustic, cute and dark wood decor around the place. Classic brewery plus restaurant setup and we truly enjoyed it.Went with the preset menu from their restaurant week menu and all the dishes were fantastic. Portions were reasonable and the dishes were extremely delicious. I'd say just try whatever sounds good to you. That's what we did and nothing disappointed us. Lovely restaurant and will be coming back

We love Crosby kitchen for dine in and catering so decided to try the perch for our multi generational family of 7. It was decent but not quite up to that level. The cocktails were heavy on the ice so they felt watered down to me. The food was decent. I would stick to the beer selection next time. Decent service. Good vibes and family friendly. Kids under 12 eat free 4-6p on weekdays.

This review is based on a Chicago Restaurant Week experience Service 5/5, Ambiance 5/5, Food 3/5Hoping the disappointment with the food was a Restaurant Week issue and would be willing to try again! Our favorite item was the Carrot Cake. The Short Rib Rigatoni was good flavor and texture, but it was just really heavy. The Salmon was a weird cut and the charred Broccoli was already cold & hard to cut - wishing it had been served with a steak knife. It also felt like the plate was missing something like a grain - I would have paired it with a rice pilaf or mashed potatoes. The Wrightwood Salad was a weird mosh of items together.
