The Paleta Bar

The only bad thing about this place is figuring out what flavor to get. So many options of paletas and then to make it more difficult, there are options to top them. I appreciated the fact that, they saw how conflicted we were in choosing a flavor so they allowed us to sample a few before picking out our favorite. Plus, they have dairy free options, which is great. We will definitely be back several more times because there are so many flavors we want to try, plus I want to try their aqua frescas as well. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the location, there isn't much space for seating outside (paleta and aqua frescas need to be enjoyed outside in Houston) and also it would be nice to walk around. Tip to owner: ifOpen a location in the city center plaza, it would be a hit !!!!

The ice cream bars were delicious. And there was a nice assortment of toppings. I really enjoy the white chocolate drizzle.Seating is limited, thus only four stars instead of five.

Yum!!!! This place is perfect! We got 2 cucumber lime agua frescas and two Paletas. One milk chocolate dipped in chocolate with sprinkles and one watermelon with chamoy and taijin. We loved them!

The place to go if you want something refreshing fruitwise, traditional sweet of vanilla/chocolate assortments, fruit bowl, or savory snacks. I think its nice you get to try samples of the Paleta Bars. 2 paleta bars for $12 (seems a little high to me, but with location and inflation in general everywhere)My friend enjoyed her Chamoy Paleta with fruit Mango (not spicy)I like the watermelon paleta coated with chili seasoning and drizzle with some chamoy and with fruit mango. Maybe next time easy on the chili seasoning. My friend sampled a aqua fresca Cucumber lime and she said it was good. Definitely will be back to try that next time.

Paletas are Mexican popsicles made from fresh fruit juice or milk, then dipped and topped with whatever you fancy in terms of condiments and add-ons. The Paleta Bar is a franchise specializing in these frozen treats with 20+ locations, mainly distributed across the Southwestern U.S. The Memorial location is small with both indoor and outdoor seating and a cool Houston-themed pop art mural on the wall. The staff was very friendly and more than willing to shave off little samples for us. I was in the mood for something a little more heavy, so I went for an Horchata paleta, dipped in dark chocolate and studded with shredded coconut. I like that they only glaze half of the popsicle diagonally to add some variety to the experience. The chocolate can be overpowering, so ask them to go light on the drizzle. It's a unique dessert hangout that is a little quirkier and more interesting that the usual post-meal ice cream run.

Just found out there's a @thepaletabarhouston in town!!! We first had it in Vegas and man these are some delicious ice cream bars!!! The flavors rotate every so often but you can usually find certain staples and they let you sample both the ice cream and juices!! Very nice staff and delicious ice cream for this hot Houston weather do try!!

Fresh spot to check out if your looking for a refreshing snack. So many options to choose from and toppings, galore!. I met the owner very nice and very accommodating. The location is very small not much seating inside and some tables outside. It seems to be busy at all times so expect a little bit of a wait in line, But it does move quick. They don't just have Popsicles they also have corn in a cup and prepared chips with Queso, good stuff definitely worth a try!

Love this place! So many options and different combinations to get, it was hard to decide. Love that you can try samples!They also have some snacks and fresh made agua fresca, which I sampled and it was very good. The people who work there are really friendly and helpful. Everything I tried or got was delicious. I will be back when I'm in town, glad my mom lives so close!

it's cute inside but dirty as hell from all the toppings flying everywhere. They have good music too and it was super empty when we went. it's good but i mean it's just too expensive in my opinion. a single paleta costs like $7.50. don't get the cracker dust tho i almost choked on it LMAO but a solid paleta it was so creamy
