Coming from NJ, I've had access to amazing bagels my entire life and have rather high standards for them. I've been in this area for nearly 4 years and this is the first bagel place I've tried that lives up to my expectation. Service was efficient. My everything bagel with scallion cream cheese was delicious and the cream cheese to bagel ratio was perfect. I will be back.

Finally, an oasis in this bagel desert I have been living in the last two years! I love a good bagel and the places recommended around me only serving plain or everything bagels weren't cutting it at all. Nor were the Dunkin's of the world who don't know or don't care enough to actually toast their bagels. Original has saved me from these abominations and also saved me from driving back into the city any time I want a decent bagel. This place has every flavor you could imagine. I went later in the morning and they weren't out of anything yet either. I opted for my go to, cinnamon raisin toasted dark with cream cheese. And I am so happy to say they actually toasted it dark. The ladies who helped me were so lovely and made sure it was toasted well. The self serve coffee was great as well. In addition to bagels they have a bunch of other baked goods offerings that I am sure I will try one of these days. But for now I can't wait to go back and get a few more delicious quality bagels that I have been so missing in my life.

We stopped here for breakfast to try it out as our usual breakfast place was closed. They have a large selection of bagels and other baked goods. We got a bacon, egg & cheese, sausage, egg & cheese and a cream cheese bagel. The bagels had good flavor but there wasn't much bacon on the BEC. Some of the bagels were on the smaller side compared to other places I've been to.The staff was very friendly and the food came out quickly. The restaurant is a very classic bagel place with the bagel case display. We would come back here again.

Although I'm not a New Yorker myself, I come from a family of New Yorkers and therefore grew up regularly enjoying quality Jewish food. Needless to say, I'm very picky about my bagels! I kept reading about The Original Bagel shop from "Best Of" lists, so I while I was as in Broomall, I ventured in to give the place a try. The Original Bagel lives up to all the hype! It was about the closest thing to a real New York bagel that I could find in the Philadelphia suburbs. So glad I tried it and I will be back for more bagels- I might even make a special trip!

Wow these bagels are delicious! They were fresh out of the oven. I got a bacon egg and cheese sandwich and it was delicious. The bagels were light and fluffy. I will def be back for more bagels!

Went to pick up a dozen bagels and the staff and team were very accommodating. Wanted some garlic and got them straight from the oven. Lots of other good treats as well as the bagels. No room to eat-in but a great place.

Bagels are truly authentic Jewish style. Amazing! Great friendly staff! Bagel sandwiches are great! Have to try their cream cheese soon

Very popular place with tons of bagel variety. Bagels have an excellent chew, though the flavor of the cinnamon swirl bagel could be stronger. Prices are comparable to chains but the $1 debit/credit card fee (not based on transaction amount) is a turn-off
