The Oakville Grill & Cellar

We came for happy hour and my expectations were definitely exceeded. The drinks here were great. I really enjoyed my aperol spritz. We also had the French onion dip from the happy hour menu. The service here was quick and friendly but we never felt rushed and were really able to enjoy ourselves. The outside seating here is definitely a highlight and a great way to enjoy the summer weather. I didn't realize how gorgeous the inside of the restaurant is too! There is a beautiful indoor outdoor upstairs bar. This would be a fantastic event space.

Went for Sunday Brunch. Lovely decor, attentive service. Menu accommodation for food allergies and server asked about them prior to taking orders. The food was disappointing. Ham & cheese omelet had a modest amount of small pieces of diced ham, several of which were nothing but gristle. The promise of cheddar cheese was just that, a promise. Almost no cheese tasted or visible.Salad greens with dressing on side. Nothing in salad but lettuces, no other vegetables or interesting things in the salad. Other dishes ordered by table were the breakfast pizza which was mostly crust with a suggestion of bacon and some eggs in the very middle.The poached eggs on companions eggs Benedict were cooked perfectly. Prices consistent with the area. Didn't have any cocktails or wine. Would try somewhere else before returning here.

This is quite a happening place in the heart of Fulton Market. It's nice to know they have valet parking because there is little parking in that neighborhood. It's a terrific restaurant but the wine angle is just that. Nothing built around the wines, although they are beautifully displayed. The menu covers all the main food choices, so it doesn't focus on any style. What they do have is very good. We started with the grilled avocados and the deviled eggs. Outstanding! We covered the menu styles with pasta, chicken, and salmon. All were delicious. The lemon cake is a must and if you need another dessert the peanut butter pie is a winner too. Our server Kennedi was outstanding and added to the fun we had with dinner!

Happy hour here is great! Totally worth your money. We tried the Yellowfin Tuna Tostadas which had the perfect amount of tuna on top and had great flavors. We also enjoyed their white wine happy hour special and the Pearloma. After happy hour we sat down for dinner on their patio. Their patio was nice and airy with heaters installed on top. It was the perfect environment for a bigger group/girls dinner. We all decided to split a bottle of wine and the sommelier came out and helped us pick a botte out that considered our taste and price range. We split the: spinach & artichoke dip, local burrata, costa mesa salad, marghertia pizza, grilled chicken, and housemade gnocci.The food overall was nothing mind-blowing where it'd be craving to come back, but it was still a very tasty dinner! The dessert, however, is worth coming back for. Our waitress mentioned that the gooey lemon cake has a "cult following" and it sure did not disappoint!Our waitress was SO wonderful. I wish I rememberd her name - but she was so patient, made some great recommendations for us, and was really great about checking in.

I have not had the pleasure of visiting this establishment before, but I have heard that it boasts both a downstairs and rooftop area. Moreover, the service and cuisine are supposedly exceptional. I would recommend paying a visit to this venue and keeping an eye out for a server named Rob, who is known for his impeccable service.

Cute restaurant with great drinks. The HH ends super early. I enjoyed my time here. The service was quick and friendly as well. We shared some apps - the tuna was INCREDIBLE and the fries were great!

A Lettuce Eats establishment. This is very much my go- to for happy hours and client dinners. The ambiance is age appropriate for anyone and the bar tending staff is phenomenal. My favorite drink is the olive oil martini chilled perfectly to perfection. In addition, this restaurant takes celiac very seriously and can modify just about anything. The burrata is a must try with the gluten free bread!

Saturday night and this is the place to be. The music was great the service was even better. Food was topnotch. The bar has a huge selection of drinks. Do make a reservation before hand because it is very hard to get a table. Below are my rating and no I didn't add an extra zero the food was literally that good. Phenomenal Spicy pepperoni pizza: 1000/10Napa Caesar salad 1000/10Coal roasted brick chicken 1000/10Dry-aged steak burger 1000/10Cream mash (out of this world) Dessert: oak like peanut butter pie (mind blown) They do have a small fee of 3% for rising cost but when the food is this good who cares!!!! Ps I suggest taking an Uber because parking is crazy but they do offer valet parking as well. WILL BE BACK

Came here for brunch and this cinnamon bun is the only photo you need to convince you that you need to try it. Sharing a cinnamon bun with an espresso martini can kick off any weekend. The inside of the restaurant is absolutely stunning with a large bar in the center and bar seating. There is also an upstairs and outside patio I would love to go back to in summer. The restaurant is so aesthetically pleasing I would love to host a shower or event in the upstairs as it would be great for photos!
