The Nook Restaurant

Nice little hole in the wall cafe. A good note, if you're going, just know the hours between 8 am and 10 am you're gonna be waiting a long time. So it's good to wake up early to get to this place.There was plenty of parking, and the restrooms were very clean

I love this little restaurant! The food is all homemade and delicious. Cinnamon rolls as big as a plate! I love a good hot breakfast and this is the place to go. Family owned and run. Bottomless coffee and service is great. Highly recommend!

I'm a big fan of traditional "greasy spoon" diners. I say that with total love for the food and the ambience. It was clean and the folks were very friendly. I'm rarely in that neighborhood, but if I need a quick meal or a cup of coffee while I sit and kill time, this will be my place.

Cute, small breakfast place called "The Nook". We came in 30mins prior to closing and not once did we hear anything about that or felt rush from the server. They were very friendly and offered great service. Food was good too. Although we just felt like we can get bigger servings at another place for the similar price.

We stopped for the first time after passing by for years. This place is the bomb. They have daily specials of home cooked meals. Today was chicken and dumplings and by the time I ordered one to go it was all gone and only 12:30. Then we thought we order a cinnamon roll and wow it was finger by licking good. Service is great and ambiance is neighborly. Will be back for sure

It was cozy and the food was wonderful! We really enjoyed our short time there!! The service was friendly as well.

On Wednesday, we ordered take out. I got the chicken salad croissant and a cinnamon roll. Both items were delicious! The cinnamon roll was likened unto the size of my head! It was enormous! The batter was similar to that if a biscuit but in the best kind of way. The service was amazing in that we ordered and went right away to pick it up and it was ready to go! I would love to share a picture but I dug in too fast to capture the beauty of it all! Highly recommend this Tomball jewel.

Love the Nook, it's our favorite Tomball breakfast stop. Great food, fun people who serve, very consistent.Always greeted with a smile.

Excellent breakfast place if you like old time diners. The staff is friendly as if from a small town. The clientele are salt of the earth people and very courteous. I had the chicken fried steak, hash browns, biscuit and two eggs. Very tasty steak and country gravy. Tender. The hash brows could have been cooked longer to get crispy. Eggs were per my order. They have a good selection of condiments. Cholula. Coffee was good and they top off frequently. Small businesses place but obviously well loved in the community.

Stopped into the Nook for breakfast to begin our day of house hunting. A tiny little hole in wall place that you might miss if you didn't know it was there. One of the best breakfasts that we had while in Tomball. I ordered the 4 slices French Toast with sausage while my wife ordered the 2 pancakes with 1 egg and sausage. Both meals were absolutely delicious and hit the spot for the day! Been a long time since I have even ordered French Toast and it was some of the best I have had. The Nook really appears to be a hidden gem that the locals know about. Small but great food and great service and prices. We will definitely be coming back to this great restaurant.
