GREAT FIND! This family owned diner is by far one of the best breakfast restaurants I have had in some time. They have a special on tuesdays where you get free pancake! FYI!I ordered the Sunrise special with a waffle and sausage patties. It was so good! The best waffle on this side of town for sure! I thought all hope was lost for breakfast diners, and this little gem popped up. It isn't the cheapest, but you definitely get a bang for your buck and do get pretty big portions! Solid cup of coffee and speedy service. The feel of this diner was definitely one that seemed to be dying off slowly and only hope to see this place around for a long time. All about family, food, and experience. An intimate styled mom and pop restaurant that you don't see too often. If you are in the area, please stop by!

It wasn't busy when we stopped in this weekend. The owner/manager greeted and seated us. Upon asking if it was our first visit, she let us know that Tuesday you can get 1 complimentary pancake! Clean, well lit, friendly staff. Mae took care of us. I had wanted the steak and eggs, but after she clarified the steak was grilled and then fried, I opted to go with the shrimp and grits. It came with a soup or salad, so chicken tortilla it was. Grits were hot, topped with 5 medium size, heavily seasoned shrimp, sautéed with onions and bacon. It came with green beans, mashed potatoes and garlic toast. The Boy had a waffle and fried country potatoes. Didn't have a chance to taste any beverages from the bar but the Cypress Slammer did sound good. Maybe next time.

First time visiting and everyone was very courteous. It's Tuesday afternoon around 3pm so not at all busy. The ambiance is cool because there's like a 80s/90s rock radio station going on. There's a decent bar; not fully stocked but enough for a good mimosa (I may or may not have had two... lol) or there is beer. Food: So I had the shrimp and grits which was just ok but it was FRESH and hot. I'm partially to certain seasoning because I'm a Louisiana girl. A little hot sauce was a blessing to it. The biscuits were great! And the pancake (Which is free on Tuesday) was pretty good. Service: Kristian was great! Friendly and prompt. My food also came out quickly which I appreciated. That's it. A nice diner open late for those who like breakfast at any time of day like me! They serve other things but I'll have to try it another time.

Hair and fabric in my food is an automatic NO! Beyond disgusted! There is absolutely no reason this should be in my food, unless that kitchen is dirty. I feel sick to my stomach and will not be eating any of this.

Been in a few times and the food and service has been solid. But the last time we dined for breakfast may have been our last. My wife ordered a waffle breakfast of some sort, the eggs that she was served tasted off. Way off. They smelled like seafood and tasted about as bad as seafood eggs sound. We didn't finish eating and decided to leave. Also if you're going to have Raid cans in your kitchen, keep them where guests can't see them.

Large pancakes!!! Good service. We impressed by the portions and definitely pleased.

Would absolutely not recommend. I went there this morning with my 7-year-old daughter who ordered the 3 Silver Dollar Pancakes with apple juice from the kids menu that I believe was $7.99 or that's the price on their menu posted on Facebook. The waitress returned and asked my daughter what kind of toast she wanted with it and listed out: white, wheat, English muffin, or French toast. My daughter replied with the French toast since that is one of her favorites. I thought it was odd they would include that as an option for a bread side, but I didn't question it. I definitely should have. When we were done eating the waitress came with the bill and I just handed her the credit card as I was busy packing up our leftovers and talking to my daughter. I should have looked at the bill more closely and questioned it. It wasn't until she brought it back for me to sign that I noticed they charged me $11.98 for my daughters' pancakes which included $2.99 for the French toast and $2.99 for her juice. When I questioned them about it, they would only refund me $3 for the apple juice. Ridiculous.

Had a luncheon at this restaurant with 9 other people. Our waitress was fabulous and did all she could to make us happy. One of the dishes slipped and landed on table and the lap of one of the ladies. The waitress tried to help clean her slacks off and had the food replaced. When the checks came, we were all pretty surprised to see she got a bill and nothing was taken off for the accidental spill of the sauce for the food. I understand accidents happen in restaurants but for the restaurant (not the waitress) to not comp this ladies lunch is unacceptable. I know they are family owned and local, but if they want to stay doing business with local people, they need to do better with customer service. What we had food wise was good but, we waited over 45 minutes after ordering for our food and, except for us, the restaurant was empty at lunch time. I read an earlier post where someone asked to speak to the owner or manager and they wouldn't come speak to them, refused to comp their lunch and told the waiter or waitress they could give the customer a 10% discount! Another example of poor customer service. I feel bad for our waitress because her employers seem to not have her back and she can only do so much. My friend paid her bill and didn't say anything because she didn't want to get the waitress in trouble, or thought they might make her pay. As I said, she was very nice, friendly, and took good care of us.

First time a few days ago. Exquisite coffee, truly amazing! I ordered the Amigo Bowl. Portions are quite large and taste delicious without being greasy. Staff was attentive and polite. I will be back!

Food was amazing & very generous portions. Ambiance nice and clean, plenty of seating. Only 3 stars because of service. Coffee took over 30 min. just to bring out coffee...Staff very apologetic & friendly just not trained very well. Food took a very long time to come out as well. If they improve the service it would get 5 stars from me.
