The Local Butcher

We heard about The Local Butcher this summer and can't say enough good things about them. From the steaks to their brats are fire.

The best meat!! A nice selection of different meat & cuts, and they can do some requests. Everything is super fresh, even from the frozen section. The butchers here are super knowledgeable and make excellent suggestions. Plus they have pig ears for dogs & raw dog food. Our dog is on a raw diet and really enjoys the the beef & liver mix they carry, to the point she will eat around her normal food and eat only that! Aside from this they have a selection of dairy products, seasonings and spices, bbq equipment/accessories/nuggets.

I will never be back. I was told to leave because I had a service animal. It is not a support animal. She serves a medical purpose for both alerting and assisting with epileptic seizures. I told the staff as much. Regardless of your beliefs, it is Illegal to refuse service for this reason. She's a German shepherd, she was wearing her vest, and was patiently sitting on my side. Being asked to leave against ADA LAW infuriates me. Oh and their prices are incredibly high.

Always a wonderful experience! Customer service is friendly & informative, meats are superb & reasonably priced, I have never been unsatisfied with my purchase.

Brand new meat market in neighborhood. (This is the old Allegra location and you would never know as the space is large.) Great selection and they have cheese and sauces, as well. Stop in to grab something for grill. I picked up two pork medallions wrapped in bacon and speared with fresh Rosemary. I was given perfect instructions for cooking and last night we had something a little special for dinner. The meat was tender and flavorful with a hint of the rosemary. Our two medallions were $4.98 total and were perfect for the two of us, I know The Local Butcher is going to succeed in our neighborhood, I already see a long line for holidays.

Great service. We also got great cooking recommendations on the extra thick pork chops. The pork chops turned out great.

I've only walked through the other location once, but this new spot is at least twice as big! I'll bet they could break down an entire buffalo or elk right here in the shop.As with any local butcher, expect much higher prices than at the local grocery, but the process here are compatible to other butchers, and all of the meat is local.I went home with some elk steaks. They were frozen, but still local. I can't wait to throw these on the smoker.The store opened with very little fan fare. I, for one, am happy to welcome The Local Butcher to the neighborhood. We needed a good specially meat shop.

Wow do not come here for a sandwhich. Women helping us had to wait for manager to find out of coleslaw is bad/expired. While they were discussing this I decided to forego the questionable coleslaw and opt for lettuce. Manager nope that for sure is expired. Wtf?! Ended up with meat and bread. Will not be back.

Friendly neighborhood business. Good selection. Competitive prices especially for quality meats!

This place is fantastic! Great group of people, super friendly and knowledgeable! Highly recommend the Park Hill location.
