The Local Bar

The Local Bar is, in all its glory, my actual local bar. Its the fresh food, heavy pours, and hand crafted cocktails that keep bringing me back. It doesn't matter if it's for a quick bite or a several hour, much needed social therapy session with my crew -- this is my go to spot. What to try: hummus board, pizza, burger. Their food menu was recently consolidated so there are less options but I'm not complaining. Thursday nights are my favorite because it's Steak Night. $23 gets you a beautiful steak and either side of fries or a salad. Go with the salad - it's really good. The plate is big enough to split if you're not too hungry or decide to order something else. The Brussels are fixed exactly like next door at Local Table and IYKYK (order them). If you decide to come as a large group on the weekend I recommend calling ahead of time as they offer live music and it can get busy. Service is always good but especially when Warren is behind the bar. Come as you are because there's nothing pretentious going on here.

This is a nice little bar. A lot of thought and time was put in designing this place. It has some of the best bar food I have ever tried. And their $2 taco Tuesdays are the best.

We went to this place after visiting the local table right across the driveway from this place. The food quality here is awful, we ordered an egg dish where the eggs were supposed to be over easy and they were just sunny side up. Afterwards we were informed they don't have a real stove to make over easy eggs, but rather just an oven....I'm literally thinking how can you cook eggs without a stove. Anywho, it was awful. We also saw the manager or waitstaff go across to local table to pick up an order for a customer, since the two restaurants are owned by the same people.....I guess. Oh yes with regards to the eggs, the staff offered to redo the dish and even offered to have it made across the way next time, but nah that's just weird a restaurant without a stove and picking up food from your sister company for patrons at the current spot. I'm good !!!

We are here, waiter walking directly toward us as he's delivering drinks to another table and he never scans his section enough to see us waving our arms, flagging him for our bill. He's literally 1.5 ft. from me. He delivers drinks but still doesn't look around. We love this place yet service here is always average or worse than average. Rare to get good service here. And we like to tip big but alas, rarely have the chance to here.

College football was on and fun atmosphere but we waited almost 30 minutes for 2 drinks and then one was wrong. Our waiter was nice but the place was severely understaffed (1 bartender, 1 waiter for the whole place). Wanted food, which looked good, but table next to us had been waiting almost an hour for pizza and we didn't have the time.

Just like you would expect from a baseball, football game, or county fair, it really hit the spot that night.Great selection of beers and spirits. The staff is amazing! The bartenders and waitresses are always extremely friendly and attentive. The place is usually pretty clean, considering it is specifically a bar. You actually see employees from local table over to local bar to help out or to get specific drinks made.I love coming coming. here, especially since it is walking distance. Rock solid five stars.

We love this place, it is our go to spot for Friday HH! They have different deals each day of the week. We usually get a couple appetizers and I love the Froze All Day. The wings are huge and very flavorful. The only thing on the menu I didn't care for were the nachos. I like the tater tots, wings and hummus board the best. It gets busy after 5:30 on Fridays. During the week isn't as bad.

Great local bar with a good selection of beers on tap, and great cocktails. Plenty of TVs, and a great crowd, so it makes for a great place to watch the game.

Attention General Manager Mike M:I'm compelled to award a 5-star review tonight, all thanks to ANTHONY. It was a bustling Thursday evening at Local Bar, with what appeared to be celebrations all around. Despite being seated by the window--outside of his assigned area--Anthony took notice of our slightly prolonged wait and stepped in to assist. He quickly reassured us he'd be taking over as our server, effectively ensuring our wait time became a non-issue. His commitment to keeping our drinks perfect and our meal exactly to our liking was remarkable. His approach was both friendly and professional, striking the perfect balance. We're regulars at LB on Thursdays, but from now on, we'll specifically request to be seated in Anthony's section. For anyone planning a visit to Local Bar, do yourself a favor and ask for Anthony from Local Table--he played a key role in making our evening exceptional. *****Brandon & Tiffany
