I'm really at 3.5 stars for this rating but the hookah was good! Very clean and easy pull. But service wasn't top notch. I went by myself, expecting to sit at the bar, but of course it was packed on a Saturday night. So after standing for about 15min, they sat me with 2 gentlemen I didn't know in their booth. Kind people, but wasn't expecting to be crowding their space. But then after getting my hookah, 2 more girls who didn't have anywhere to sit, were sat next to me in the booth. The seating is a bit uncomfortable if you're not with a large group. I even noticed they moved a group of 4 ppl to one side of a booth, just to sit another party in the booth across. But onto the food... My jerk salmon blt was really good!! Request more sauce if you order. I love that they have turkey bacon & not pork. Cool vibe to just chill and go out for a bite to eat and hookah!

I always enjoy coming the the lion for the hookah and food. It's a low key lounge where you can vibe and have conversation. Everything on the menu I've had has been good but my favorite is the fried fish.

Our experience was absolutely ruined due to the incompetence of the waitress Ida. I came with a party of 8. We all ordered an appetizer as well as an entree. Again we were a party of 8! We asked the waitress over 5 times to write it down so she won't forget. Each time she doubled down saying she won't forget. Apparently she wanted to appear to be super waitress. Just as we EXPECTED she forgot multiple items on the list, brought entrees out before appetizers then LIED when we asked her if she put it in or not. She couldn't even face us so another waitress had to take over. If she continues to work there she will run customers away. IDA would be better suited as the janitor rather than being a waitress. If you decide to come, DO NOT SIT WITH IDA! She's a whole idiot.

I visited this location to celebrate a friend's birthday. My sister-in-law had been here before and suggested for good food, hookah, and chill vibes, which is exactly what we got.The Parking: It's located in a shopping center on Buford Highway, so plenty of free parking. The Service: The service was great. Our hosts were extremely nice. Once our party got larger, they offered us to move to a bigger booth once it opened up, which offered us a lot more space than the table we were at originally. The Atmosphere: Felt like your typical hookah spot. I heard it's a good mix of music, but the night we went, it was mostly all AfroBeats. The Hookah: If I recall correctly, I believe the hookah was priced decently at about $25. The hookah also hit really good. I found myself pretty buzzed rather quickly. I ate before I came, so I didn't order any food; however, I was offered some food once people could no longer finish their meals from being stuffed. I merely sampled a little from everyone to help out, as I was still full myself, and everything I tasted was delicious.Overall, I would definitely check this spot out. Real lowkey.

Coming here is always a hit or miss for me. In all aspects. The free parking and Lounge environment is definitely a plus, but service and food are dependent on who is there. On my last visit, my girlfriend and I sat at the bar. We were eventually greeted and our orders were taken. As soon as we told the bartender that we did not want hookah, he became very uninterested in serving us. My friend ordered coconut shrimp, and french fries, I ordered steak tacos. We both got Long Islands. We chatted while our food and drinks were being prepared. My tacos were great, and my friend loved her coconut shrimp. She asked me if I wanted to try a fry and I accepted. I had ONE french fry and began having an ALLERGIC REACTION. THE FRY THEIR SEAFOOD IN THE SAME FRYER AS THEIR FRENCH FRIES!!!!!!!! Never in my entire life have I had an allergic reaction from eating a french fry. I am, however, allergic to coconut. For perspective, I have been a Yelp Elite member for six years, have traveled to multiple countries, and eat out about three times a week at minimum (I'm single with no kids, IYKYK). Frying seafood in the same fryer as fries is such a big no-no I cannot put into words. I had to immediately leave and get treated. My night was ruined.

This is a pretty chill place if you just want to go, smoke a cheaper priced hookah, grab a bite and some drinks. The ambiance is chill, with nice décor. The hookah lounge is one side and apparently there is a club on the other side which is accessed through a different door. The Price point is great on drinks and hookah and the food options looked decent if I had not eaten already. I'll be back just because the hookah is like $20-$25 bucks. Oh and heads up... They put shisha in the water in the hookah bowl. I was not prepared lol. But they bring out a brand new hose and are clean. The drinks were strong as well. They may have some new bartenders also. just fyi. I did not pay to get in and there is a lot of free parking. It is located in a shopping plaza.

The most horrible experience, brought some friends from LA over for light snacks and hookah n drinks. Waitress sat us down and brought hookah and drinks, 30 min later the same waitress asked us to leave because someone bought a bottle and need the table. How disrespectful can they be? I have never feel disrespected in my life. I spent over a 100 in 30 min to be ask for the table for someone else. Will never step foot near

I've been coming to Lion's for a few years now. I always have a grand time when I visit here. The staff are always friendly and welcoming to me, so I have no complaints with customer service. I usually sit at the bar to chop it up with other patrons, as the booths are typically already taken by the time I arrive. I've eaten here only once, out of the many times I've come here, as the Lions is usually my last stop on my way back home from a fun night out, and I'm only interested in one last drink before calling it a night. There is a club section which opens later in the night and then a lounge area which closes once the club opens. I've attended the club portion and the music was always fire and folks always seemed to be of great energy and not afraid to sweat it out on the dance floor, which is not common in Atlanta, when everyone would prefer to hold up the wall. Nonetheless, I've had the oxtails which were pretty good and fair priced. Drinks are always strong and decent and fairly priced! Love Lions and highly recommend!Oh and parking is pretty plentiful (and free) as Lions is located in a shopping plaza of sorts.

A few friends of mine and I decided to head here after a concert. It was around 11pm when we got there, there were people there seeming to enjoy the place. Mostly people were just smoking hookah, but we were hungry. My friends and I got a booth and waited... and waited... and waited and then we finally was like damn do they see us? Mind you, it was about 5 of us. One of my friends got a hostess over and ask if we can order food. She said yes and literally never came back.., after waiting an additional 5 minutes we left! We left disrespected and unwelcome. My friends weren't even all the way out the booth before another server flagged people over to the section we were exiting. I will never come here again and I hope YOU (reading this) will consider other options too.
